I think it's an example of Springtime for Hitler, in that Ylvis had intended it as a throwaway joke to promote the new season of their talk show and it ended up becoming a massive hit.
Am I the only person who doesn't like this song at all and is sick and tired of people in the school hallways ALWAYS reciting the chorus of it?!?! I'm not trying to be a Fan Hater in any way, but it's getting really annoying!
