Just a Face and a Caption: Lethal Joke Item

I can't tell how that's supposed to be a lethal joke item.

Even if it is possible to tell, it's blurry, so the pic need replacing anyway.

I see no obvious blurriness. Voting Keep Until Better Image Suggested.

Yeah, not blurry, just dark. And it fits the trope, in my mind. Keep Until Better Image Suggested.

Showing it being used would be nice, since it just looks like a Joke Item.

The thing in the shadow doesn't look like a joke to me at all...

Just looks like someone's toppling over the man or is falling onto him.

I still can't tell that the joke item's powerful from that picture.

Yeah, I know it's not blurry.

It's just that I didn't know how to describe it better, so I thought the word blurry would describe it best. -.-'

It would be nice to see it in action, but It's not too bad, so I say Keep Until Better Image Suggested.

I'm gonna go with Keep Until Better Image Suggested - while it can be seen to fit the lethal aspect of the trope, there's probably better ways of showing it visually.

One or two more keep or Keep Until Better Image Suggested votes and we can move on.

I'm ok with the current pic... +1 in favor of keeping the foamy glove.

... huh, so I did. I totally forgot.

But my point remains, there's nothing demonstrating this as being different from a Joke Item.

I think this would be an improvement, at least it shows him holding it like a weapon.◊ Still not perfect, but an improvement.

Slight improvement, yes.

Maybe the ASP tank from Saints Row 3? Or the giant purple dildo, but I'd imagine that's too NWS◊.

Not a video game example, but My First Blaster would have to count◊.

The last one is funny and illustrative. There are non-video game examples, so I don't think that's a problem.

The dildo kind of works, but is a bit tacky. The wok is just text, and the tank is, well, a tank. You'd kind of expect it to run over most vehicles.

While I'll say the Transformer pic is pretty good/funny, there are really just an handful of non-videogame examples... I'd rather go with 14.

I just realized I had the wrong pic in my previous post...edited to reflect.

I think we need something where it's actually being used and looks damaging.

You can kill people with flowers and dildos in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Perhaps a screenshot of that?

Maybe we can use the Top Spin from Mega Man 3. We could have one pic of Megaman using it on an enemy and fail miserably (like many gamers do) and another that shows him defeating the Final Boss with it.
