Hmm... it seems workable to me.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI mainly just find it weird. It's a little hard to tell where the torpedoes are coming from, why the boat is above the water, or why the size difference is so small.
Check out my fanfiction!Ah. Looked like a much larger boat to me.
Check out my fanfiction! That's just weird. I think this trope is going to need a lampshading to make it clear.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.That is even better. I am willing to leave the lampshading to a caption.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI agree.
The initial one just looked like the helicopter is bombing an inexplicably floating boat. Second's better, and better than nothing, but I agree, a lampshading would be best.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.My problem is that if your boat can fly, torpedoing a helicopter in midair isn't a particularly crazy plan.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.But you can't tell if the boat has a native capability to fly just by looking at it.
There doesn't seem to be anything that propels it to be in the air.
I am not sure if we ought to lampshade the flying boat or the rockets.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI think the image works well enough.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! The second version works well enough...I got nothing for a caption right now.
Ramping a PT boat off a derelict tanker in order to torpedo a helicopter. There's no way this can fail.
@14 is a caption proposal? I support it.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSorry, yes, it is a suggestion.
That's a great caption suggestion.
Well, that at least explains it.
Check out my fanfiction!Oh man, I love the image!
For the caption, why not just "Torpedoing a helicopter, because why the hell not."?
EDIT: Huh, that sounded a lot better in my head.

Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DM, Whoops! Got confused with another thread. The pic and caption are up, potholed, and tagged; locking up.

+1 for nitrokitty's caption.

Was going to add this picture to Crazy Enough to Work, but I have added a few Black Lagoon images already. and well, there was a comment to come there due to the previous thread too...
Torpedoing a helicopter seem crazy enough to me, or do we need something more obvious, somebody actually lampshading how crazy something is?
