Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Academy 3: The New Duel Academy

• Name: Coro Estesia
• Age: 14
• Duel Spirit: Vortex the Whirlwind, an eternally depressed Duel Spirit who can't live down not making the Blackwing auditions. At least you can still be in the deck!
• Appearance: A thin young man with wavy black hair and striking blue eyes. He wears a fairly standard uniform for Slifers. A red blazer over a black undershirt, jeans and a pair of gray sneakers. One thing that stands out is his black scarf, which is very fond of. Worn and very long, it reaches all the way down to the end of his arm. Curiously, it has black feathers stuck to it. If one ever asks him how it got that way, he would be happy to tell the tale.
• Duel Disk: Academy standard
• Goals: He has no real goal other than "never go back home".
• Origin: Coro hails from Detroit, which is essentially Michigan's Satellite. Much like over half of the children there, Coro was born into poverty. However, he lived through it by sticking with his friends, and it was growing up there that he learned the importance of strength in numbers. You could get surprisingly far with a group at your back and a duel disk on your arm. But one can only stomach the butt of America for so long, and he, much like the millions of people before him, eventually just had to get out of there.
• Personality: It used to be that Coro's disposition was usually cheerless and dark, but ever since he got into Duel Academy, he's been much more vivid, as if a great weight has been lifted from his shoulders. Pretty much raised on companionship, he would do anything for his friends, and he places his trust in those friends that they would do the same. He also tends to have quite the flirtatious streak. While most of his memories of his time in Detroit weren't exactly pleasant, he will still recount stories of his time in that rat hole, usually with a fair share of complaints as well.

Both Ryu and Kizuna are from an undefined Middle Eastern country. But they have Japanese first names.

And Detroit is the only one that really came up during the RP, during the greatest duel to ever happen.

He cursed in French a few times but yeah, it wasn't made out to be a big deal.

So are sign-ups still open? I have a hard time tryin' to figure out decks for RP characters >_< I don't wanna use somethin' that's built too much like the meta deck, I kind of wanna emulate the anime a bit.

^Actually, he would be a 3rd year. However, since it seems like he's just now coming to the island, he'll be in the New Arrivals dorm with Barnaby.

Yeah. Presumably, once the students are settled in and everything, they'll be shifted to their normal dorm at the end of whatever month, after the monthly exams. They'll probably have to pass a minimum requirements test, though, so that if they still need help from the Loathelesses they can get it easily.

Could a character have multiple Duel Spirits? My characters gonna use a Ghostrick deck and she's kind of like a Ghost Whisperer.

Characters themselves can only have one spirit; however, there are people that are more spiritually sensitive than the average person bonded with a spirit.

So she can be bonded with one, but be able to talk to the others?

Yes, though most spirits can reveal themselves to sensitives already; it's more like your char would be extremely perceptive of spirits, even those just hanging around and not interacting with the real world.
