Well, decided: introducing a girl with a falcon's head. Also included are the god Khonsu and his evil aspect Khonsu nepher hotep.

• Name: Vasiliki Leonedas.
• Age: 17.
• Gender: Female.
• History*
  I assume that there's a Greek community on the island we're starting on. If not, I'll need to change this.
  : Vasiliki was born to a middle-class family in the island's*
  Wherever we start
  Greek community. Her father was a mildly successful painter, and her mother was a dancer and a musician. Her father was harsh with her, but fair, and her mother was loving and nurturing. All in all, that particular combination caused her both to become extremely determined to excel at whatever she chose to immerse herself in and to develop a strong liking of the fine arts. She was a so-so student - while her grades weren't astronomical, she muddled through. She was friendly with just about everyone, always willing to help people out, and used to hang with a few friends near the isle's church. In the meanwhile, she learned how to dance and to cook... Then the apocalypse happened.
• Personality: Happy, carefree, and optimistic. Vasiliki's outlook on life can be summed as 'if you fail, it does not matter; go on, try harder, and believe that the future will be better'. She almost always sees the bright side of things, and is willing to help others to the best of her abilities. One thing that drives her into a rage, however, is disloyalty; she suffers traitors badly, hating them with a passion.
• Appearance: a girl of middle height and middle bust, she is willowy and graceful. She usually wears her black hair in a topknot.
  Her face is long, with a prominent, almost beak-like, curving nose; full lips; almond-shaped brown eyes; large dimples that show up whenever she smiles (most of the time) and a pointed chin.
  She usually wears jeans and a tunic, both in hues of green.
• Innate abilities: A good dancer, and a good cook.
• Divine Essence: Khonsu, the Ancient Egyptian god of the moon.
• Powers, traits, and abilities:
  • Light of the Moon: Vasiliki can create moonlight and use it for a variety of effects. The most simple is illumination. She can also use it to freeze and damage her enemies - whether by surrounding herself with it or by shooting beams of it at them.
  • Healing: As the Inheritor of a god of healing, Vasiliki can call upon his power to heal those she lays her hands on. While she does so, the moon's pale fire surrounds her. At first, she won't be able to do much, but as she'll become stronger, she'll be able to treat harsher ailments.
  • The Evil Spirits: Khonsu nepher hotep is an evil aspect of Khonsu that rules the evils spirits that bring disease, madness, and decay; Vasiliki can call upon his power to confound her enemies' thoughts.
• Awakened Appearance: The obligatory falcon head, plus falcon claws for feet and hands. A full lunar circle appears above her head whenever she uses her powers. Other than that, no change.

I like the character but could you make the powers, particularly the moonlight ones, a tad more specific? Thanks.

Sorry, a little elaboration. Basically, she comes from an RP where Gods Need Prayer Badly. The original plans for the Inheritors (the people with the Gods' essence) to gain powers as they a) amassed believers and b) defeated rival Inheritors and absorbed their Essences. Thence the vagueness. From the point in the RP from which I'm planning to take her, her powers can be summed up as follows:

• Moonlight: can create normal moonlight at will. Moonlight of the damaging type needs concentration and has a brief charging period.
• Healing: Anything up to broken bones, IIRC, at the moment. Requires concentration and some time.
• The Evil Spirits: ATM, just causing confusion. As in the D&D spell.

Of course, if it's possible, Khonsu would like to gather believers and increase his (and as a result, Vasiliki's) powers.
Another note: Khonsu and Khonsu nepher hotep are like split personalities ATM. KNH attempted a Split-Personality Takeover but failed.

I'd still like you to specify the extent of the damage that the moonlight causes and how, if necessary, to balance that to make it fair for other players.

I probably shouldn't stretch myself any more thin with RPs than I already am, but the prospect of bringing back this Old Shame of mine is just too tempting... Sorry for the length, by the way. I'm not great at being concise.

• Name: Ambrose Martinez / Amando Garcia (alias)
• Age: 23
• Gender: Male
• Appearance: Like so◊, but with darker skin and blue eyes.
• Personality: Although he is entirely affable, has a soft spot for women and children, and operates under the mask of a happy-go-lucky, ineffective mercenary, Amando is in reality a ruthless, hyper-competent assassin. If someone has paid him to kill you, he'll go to great lengths and do it with a smile, probably genuinely enjoying himself in the process. His ever-present laziness and reluctance to get off his ass and do something someone else could do for him is entirely genuine, however, and he doesn't have a very good work ethic, not usually giving things his all unless he can see some benefit to himself. Seeing endless discord as the natural and fully correct state of human affairs, he delights in manipulating others into violent conflict for the sake of his own entertainment and profit. War today, war tomorrow, war forever!
• Backstory: Although actually hired by the Kyoto Group to assassinate Clovis la Britannia, Amando infiltrated Area 11 undercover as part of a company of PMC mercenaries hired by Britannia, which was subsequently brought in to hunt down a terrorist cell that had stolen a capsule full of "poison gas" and fled into the Shinjuku Ghetto. Upon discovering that the "poison gas" they were supposed to retrieve was actually C.C. and realizing that there was no way the higher-ups would let them escape alive with knowledge of her existence, Amando formed a contract with the Code-Bearer and, along with several of his defecting comrades and the genius of the man called "Zero", turned the battle against the Empire.
  
  Welcomed to the rebel stronghold in the Narita mountain range as heroes, the new rebel regiment soon seemed to solidify around Zero, with Amando as de facto second-in-command. On the eve of a Britannian assault, however, Amando snuck away to the enemy camp in an attempt to double-cross his new allies, since he saw little hope of survival and had in fact formed another, different contract with Clovis to infiltrate and undermine the rebellion. Unfortunately for him, Clovis was dead, which made proving his story to the Britannians difficult, and Lelouch Out-Gambitted him by sending an incriminating message to his phone. In the end, however, his wits and Geass allowed him to convince them he was at least somewhat loyal, and he was effectively placed on house arrest and forced to write a lengthy report explaining the circumstances surrounding the prior events. Then the RP died.
• Abilities:
  • Assassin King: Supreme skill in methods of assassination, including, but not limited to, impersonation, poisoning, stealth, escape tactics, uncanny aim and coordination, and murder with anything that could possibly be used as a weapon.
  • Geass - The Seal of Absolute Sound: The Power of Kings, bestowed upon Amando by C.C. in exchange for a chance at escaping the perilous situation in the Shinjuku Ghetto. Given shape by his desire to study and make use of everyone around him, it allows him to delve into the mind of anyone within a 500-meter radius, provided that he narrow his focus to a single individual first. Without deep concentration on Amando's part, only the target's immediate thoughts and emotions are available for reading. People carrying on several lines of thought at once are difficult to keep up with, however (Exhibit A: Lelouch). The Geass will continue to grow in power as Amando activates it more often and becomes more skilled in its use.
  • Knightmare Pilot: The capacity to pilot giant robots in battle. Although Amando is a deadly force with any weapon, a mecha being no exception, he isn't very good at defense, and so his Frames tend to get blown to smithereens an awful lot.
• Equipment: Normally, Amando would be carrying a dozen different knives and a couple pistols concealed on his person, but all his weapons were confiscated when he was put under house arrest by the Britannians. He does, however, have a bit of cash on him along with a deck of cards, and he's gotten very good at playing solitaire recently.

I would like to sign up as a character I used in an RP on This Very Wiki that sadly never got off the ground despite the cool as hell premise. The profile was fairly sparse and vague, though, do you think it needs cleaning up? For example, the description of the armor's fairly vague; I really just wanted to make a point that it's tough as hell and actually useful against damn near everything. Are they good?

Does the armor cover him head to toe? Or are there some gaps in it that balances out your character

It's medieval platemail, bro. Club him over the head hard enough and you can ring his armor like a bell, or you can slide a knife between gaps in the plates and shank him somewhere it hurts. Or just get in range and rip it off with your bare hands if you're willing to be that crude.

  • Mysic Arte:Dark Gaia:call down a meteor from Nifilhiem the realm of demons. Deals massive earth a darkness damage to the enemy party.
  • Personality:He loves nature and spends most of his time in the forests of Zepharia, studying and communing with the animals. It saddens him to fight "Monsters" knowing that they were once normal animals twisted by the ambitions of man. He also hates to see crimes against nature. However, he mostly keeps this hidden under a cool exterior.
  • Bio:As a child he was rescued from a monster by his adoptive father Hugh Schwarz, a magical researcher and skilled mage who had come to the forest Granz was living in to study a rare type of plant. Instead he found a strange horned boy. Afterwards he was taken in and he was taught magic. Until recently he had been helping his father in various research projects, when he decided to travel in search of his origin.

Sounds good then, as long as there's a way for you to balance that.

You're going have to limit/balance that magic out somehow.

Jessie's a blunt instrument with social sensibilities as steadfast and confident as Shinji Ikari on a bad day, I'm pretty sure that balances the massive claymore and tough-as-fuck armor.

@Fantasy:There's a limit on how much he can do in a short time. I'd say he'd be ablt to cast the first five spells ten times before having to rest. And the Burst and Mystic Take a while to charge.
