I'm guessing The Reveal would be changed to be that you were named "Frisk" after the first human, rather than the two of you having different names.

[up][up][up]Whenever I've read dialogue that had Voice Grunting, I've read it using the "voice" that was used for it. Except for Papyrus. After reading a comment of someone using Skeletor for him, I couldn't not read his dialogue without "hearing it" with that voice in my head. I believe it fits him so well... [lol]

So, after sleeping it off, I remembered something I've read about Chara here. Pretty much, the troper that wrote the Superpowered Evil Side trope for Chara speculates that he's my evilness toward videogames made "real". If that's the case, then I'm never gonna see him, 'cause I'm just too nice to do evil stuff, even in a videogames... Unless you get on my bad side.

Heh, I don't want to annoy anyone, but I think I understood why I'm still a bit conflicted about killing Flowey. It's because, when I finally defeated him, while my mind was saying "Spare him, it's the right thing to do", my... Everything else was like "He doesn't deserve mercy. Guess that was Chara possesing me...? O_O

Also, this reminded me of something... So, when you finish a normal/pacific run, if you spare Flowey, he helps you out on archieving the true pacifist ending, "because he's sorry for what he did." But, since with what happens in the true pacifist final fight, he was just lying the whole time. So, now, it got me thinking... Since I killed him, he din't help me out on getting the true pacifist ending, but I managed to do it anyway. In this case, he could only hope that I could do it on my own because, as he says in the end, "You wanted an ending were everyone was happy"? So, either he already knew what I was gonna do, or did I broke the game a little?

Oh damn, I just remembered something funny... Who lost it when Undyne said "I, Undyne, will knock you down!" when going against her again in a pacific run? I was like, facepalming while laughing my ass off...

Flowey knows how gamers think xD Difference of sparing him is whether he guides you towards what he knows you will do.

My theory is Mercy is what Flowey deserves. As a punishment. Rub it in his face that he was wrong about the world. And also because dang the situation that created Flowey is messed up.

[up]Well, guess that I would had mercy on him if I was able to go in the True Lab before deciding to spare him or not... I mean, damn.

And maybe you don't really do nothing by sparing him now that I thing about it. He could very well be faking everything so to make you think he's having a change of "heart", just so you can help him in completing his master plan...

Gotta go to work now. See ya!

So fun with Undyne!

Trying to be rude with her results in her trying to friend you as revenge, so the Papyrus' smart moment is skipped unfortunately xD

If you try to go left on "heat it up" part, she says its one way dial. Also if you do it too slowly, she does it instead and it results in bigger fire ball than what you can do

Trying to fight her on final part results in same as fake hit: 1 damage

A question on the final true boss.

Why did absorbing the 6 souls in combination with all the monster souls cause him to revert to Asriel when absorbing the 6 souls alone caused omega Flowey?

I have a message from another time...

Maybe because he didn't have any monster souls in there? Human souls can give monsters a big ol' power boost and can body hijack apparently. Or maybe Asriel just wanted you to see the True Lab before he would reveal himself. See what happened to him.

From what I've read, the game hints at a better ending on every Neutral ending route, it's just that sparing Flowey makes him elaborate on how to achieve it.

And maybe you don't really do nothing by sparing him now that I thing about it. He could very well be faking everything so to make you think he's having a change of "heart", just so you can help him in completing his master plan...
...Eh, I feel like you're kind of ruining some surprises for yourself if you're asking these questions before attempting any of the other endings. If you're really concerned with how Flowey reacted to your killing him, then go back and don't do it. The game pulls things like this all the time to get you to question things and react accordingly.

But as Spooky Mask said, yes, he's basically planning something else when you spare him. It's still worth it though.

By the way, Dark Coffee 64, you can spoil tag entire sentences (paragraphs, even!), so you don't need to keep breaking them within a single paragraph off unless you make a new paragraph (tags don't carry through different paragraphs). This way you aren't typing more than necessary.

As an example, here's two of your earlier posts with the tags adjusted. Notice how there are no spaces between the spoiler tag now, compared to your original tags.

Heh, I don't want to annoy anyone, but I think I understood why I'm still a bit conflicted about killing Flowey. So, either he already knew what I was gonna do, or did I broke the game a little?

...Just to be clear, I'm just trying to help, since I feel that the current way you were tagging means you were typing a lot more spoiler tags than you need to.

@Enlong: Well, history glyphs do state that one human soul equals about to all monster souls so I guess its difference of having 6 and 7 human souls that allows him to become himself xD I guess thats kinda what Asgore would have been like with 7 human souls

To elaborate, I think Omega Flowey had the power, if he wanted, to take on Asriel's form again. But his Asriel persona wasn't awoken enough for him to want to. He was more Flowey than goatbro so with more power came more floweyness.

The way I figured it was that Flowey's transformation occurred the way it did because he's not human or a monster, so the human souls by themselves had a crazy effect on him. In the True path, Flowey's absorption of both the Six and the monster souls solves the issue of Flowey not having a SOUL in the first place, giving him a sort of faux-SOUL that caused him to recall original life as Asriel enough to manifest it. Asriel's evil is, of course, more of a product of everything that happened to him, which was different from Flowey's maniacal "kill or be killed" evil.

Plus there was the fact that Flowey only absorbed six souls to become Omega, while in the True path, the monster souls apparently equaled enough to make it equivalent to absorbing seven souls instead.

EDIT: note Speaking of history, I've seen up to the Hotlands and witnessing some of Mettaton's shenanigans. I wasn't expecting an info dump of sorts in Waterfall, but I'm loving what I've seen of the game so far (the monster interactions are hilarious). I really wish I could enjoy how it plays, but my brother plans on getting the game, so maybe I'll try it again then (doubtful).

Did I miss the bonus boss fight? ;-; Is it exactly on clock 8?

I'm assuming it happens anytime after 8 PM, but ends when the date changes to the 11th. Most the information I found just says it needs to be 8 PM though.

Someone claims you might have to beat Mettatton first .-. Which I guess I have to try since waiting doesn't seem to work xD

I guess I'll miss it, then.

But, considering that I haven't unlocked the Snowdin door, and I can't bring myself to reload my save file anyway, it's probably for the best.

If you really want to face that enemy, yeah, I'd definitely recommend that. Frankly, I figure that's the actual solution to encountering them, because waiting weeks for a specific date and time is kind of crazy?
