The suggestion is a clear improvement over the current, but I'd like to see other suggestions.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Suggestion is definitely more clear than existing. Bonus points for sticking with the same source scene.
Moon◊Suggestion is definitely better.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableI was about to defend the current pic, but the suggestion is just better, so never mind.
So the only reason we are changing this image is because the hero is not in the picture? The way Darth Vader is gesturing is good enough and the proposed image is of lesser quality. Additionally, (just about) everyone knows this plot point of Star Wars.
Keep the current image.

Keep it breezy! The quality isn't so bad. I like the suggestion better. We don't have to use Star Wars though if any one has any other suggestions.
Image quality's fine, but if we're really that pressed, brightened (or de-yellowed) and 1920x1080◊.

Moon◊Everyone knows this plot point. And if they don't they should.
Isn't the idea behind images that they clearly represent the trope without having been exposed to the source?
Without context, this image could just as easily say "Give me the MacGuffin Crystal!" or "Take my hand if you want to live!" or even "I have a message from Colonel Mobouta! He says 'This is from Congo Jack!'"

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Even if you somehow don't know about Star Wars, Vader looks Obviously Evil, and Luke is in white so so its not a stretch that he's a good guy. Suggestion is good enough.
"Classic"/"example" is already used on Incorruptible Pure Pureness.
on OP suggestion.

It looks like good vs evil but the SW suggestion looks more like the trope.
I think the SW one mostly just looks like Vader offering to help Luke from falling down. It's passable within context of the page, though, and the suggestion is better than the current.
Check out my fanfiction!OP suggestion is better than current.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanEgal, post 9: Well, in this case, everyone really, really does. But the point (mostly) remains (because there has to be someone out there living under a rock, despite the "everyone" I used).
The OP's suggestion is better than the current.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.
Even discounting the cave dwellers, one looks good, one looks evil, and the evil guy looks like he's beckoning to the good guy. That's good enough in my book, barring any better suggestions.
works for me.
If we must change this image because apparently Darth Vader offering his hand "is not good enough" (which, all things considered, even the cave dweller would understand what that image means) - fine. But the image proposed is very dark and requires you to squint your eyes to understand what is going on. If we must change the image, let it be of clearer quality.

Keep it breezy! That's much much nicer. For me, your link gave (and gives) a 404, so I ignored it.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. Not if you use the address bar.
Anyway, I like 20. 20 is very good.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableIt's so-so. Best of the suggestions, though.
Check out my fanfiction!I think it's good. Enough people remember this scene and this movie to get it even without being extra clear.
So what's the minimum needed votes for changin it

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!
Yeah, so, the page picture for We Can Rule Together just shows Vader standing there lookin' like a dork.
If the idea for the trope is a villain telling the hero that they can team up instead of fighting, shouldn't the hero at the very least be present in the picture? The picture caption even mentions Luke, but doesn't actually show him. The picture is totally devoid of significance. You can't look at this picture, devoid of prior knowledge of Star Wars and say "This is the part where the villain says 'We Can Rule Together!!!'"
The current picture◊.
Maybe this one would be better◊.
