War Between The Toys

So, just a fun little idea I've had that I hope will take off, unlike my past RP ideas. So, here's the premise; Toy Story meets the Toy Soldiers video game franchise.

The story is that when a child isn't looking, his or her toys come to life. Sounds fun, right? Wrong. Unfortunately, the toyroom you guys will be playing in will be involved in a war between the Plastic Army Men and the Chess pieces. The Plastic Army Men are violent warhawks who seek to take over the toyroom. At first, much of the resistance was crushed until the chess pieces came to life and held them off. Now the Chess pieces ask for help from all other toys in the room to save the toyroom from the Army Men.

So for your character, just give me a name, appearance, (a picture please so I know the toy is real), accessories, and any other things you see fit to add.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Hey man, this seems interesting. Before I submit, I have a question. Are we allowed to be chess pieces (bishop, rook) or army men? Also, do non-army/ non-chess characters need to be aligned to a certain group?

Good question. You all will be fighting on the side of the chess pieces, the ones defending the toyroom. If you want to be a non-chess pieces, yuo can have them be neutral or have them fighting for the chess pieces. If you want to be the army men, PM me and I'll think about it.

So how exactly does the chess board come to life and fight off the army men? Cause most chess pieces are not exactly posable...if you get what I mean.

They hop around. But their main assest is their strategic intelligence. That's why they've been able to hold off the army men.

One can only imagine the carnage if the child gets a LEGO set or any Transformers toys for christmas...

A transformer? Please.

Anyone with a Gunpla collection would have reinactments of the One Year War going on constantly in his or her room.

That reminds me...can we actually play as models, being much larger but being also breakable?

Hmmmm... perhaps but I don't want any munchkins or OP characters so what kind of models are we talking about?

I was thinking the 1/48 scale Gundam model

It's only fifteen inches tall. cool

Kidding aside, I'd love to play as one of the smalle Gundam models (likely a green zaku) on the side of the Army Men and play a rather...incompetent villian for everyone to rush).

Well, I'd have preferred it if everyone played the side of the chess pieces, simply because we don't have that many players yet but then again, I could make it a freeform game or something. Ideas?

Lego bricks? Has everyone forgotten the magic of Zoob?evil grin

At any rate if those were accepted I would like to play as this. When fighting, AIM FOR THE JOINTS!!!

It comes. The corrupter comes. Don't let it touch the tower lest all reality crumble.

Lego, not Legos. >.> Lego is both singular and plural.

Hmmm... To be honest, I kind of want to try playing a villain, if that would be okay. Will need to find something fitting, but...

I need to know. Is lego plural like moose or is legos the plural of lego?

Lego is the plural of Lego. "Legos" is grammatically incorrect.

How is Dipper both a gentle giant and Axe Crazy?

Yes. Ax-Crazy is when someone is like a psychopathic killing machine. I would say judging from the character description, that Dipper is more like The Big Guy. Would that be correct? I'm assuming, based on the description, he's a big softie at heart unless you threaten his friends?
