Yeah... the whole operation sorely Needs More Love.
Never underestimate the importance of an open mind and compassionate heart.Speaking of the Rebel Taxi page, I have added a new entry to the Funny page and I have added the Heartwarming page.
boop I'm more active on herePersonally, even if it was way before the real incident occurred, I'd say he went too far in his opinion on Boston's reaction to the Toonami bomb scare thing. Sure, it seems silly, but in this day and age, when an unidentified electronic device is left somewhere, you honestly can't be too careful or take any chances with it. You never know what can be a danger, especially in a post 9/11 world. And yeah, I know that's not the first time an attack like that has occurred, but it's enough to heighten paranoia about these things—and you DON'T want to provoke that paranoia, intentionally or otherwise. It's the reason you can't say "bomb" in an airport, after all.
However, at least he had the good sense to take down that video. (At least, from his You Tube. It's still on his blip. Eh, an okay compromise I suppose, but it still grinds my gears a bit.)
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.I absolutely adore this guy's work. His 90's Kids rant has got to be my favorite.

On my wave, passing oooooooonMy favorites are his Minority Report review and his Megas XLR review.
boop I'm more active on hereI'm probably one of the few that disliked his "90's Kids" rant. I will say that for the most part, his points were well executed and researched from an objective standpoint. He definitely had his heart in the right place and it shows, too. However, it lost all credibility when he got to the argument of "Cartoons can't get away with anything nowadays", where one of the clips he uses to disprove that statement is MLP of all shows, and not even a clip from the actual show, it was a mere fan animation that would obviously be too gruesome to air on the show anyway.

Someone wake me from this nightmare, I've become my darkest fear...Well, he HAS apologized for that mistake in the comments.
boop I'm more active on hereIt appears that Pan is experimenting with a new look, judging by "Top 10 Failed Animated Pilots" and "Interview with Maxwell Atoms". Also, Dead Meat!
Never underestimate the importance of an open mind and compassionate heart. The kickstarter's finally up? THANK GOD.
boop I'm more active on here@x86x 2 I thought it was just a visual joke…
A corpse should be left well enough alone...Hey, new video.
Also, a Kickstarter he's supporting.

Never underestimate the importance of an open mind and compassionate heart.Just found this guy. Good stuff. I like the simplicity of his show and the lack of nostalgia filter that he shows.

As much as I think Zone is a great animator, his obsession with her is kinda creepy.
One of my biggest problem with him is just how I can't tell if he's really an awful slacker or actually gives a damn. His videos are some of the most impressive reviews I've seen since they emulate Toonami so well. But then I look at his tumblr and see how he really doesn't give a damn at college and just acts like an utter tool.
Speaking of his tumblr,I feel it has made me lose a lot respect for the guy.He seems obsessed with Goth girls. It gets really annoying to hear the guy never fucking shut up about them. And I like goth fashion. But the way he gets about his "waifus"(I put quotation marks because I don't know if he is actually obsessed with them or just playing it up and isn't that obsessed),Zone and goths really makes me wonder if he's playing it up or he's really that bad.Doesn't help his podcast co stars make fun of the guy (namely Nolan) to a point where I also can't tell if they're fucking around with him or are legit annoyed with him.
Speaking of his podcast,I feel pretty mixed about it.I like the topics and I loved some of his guest stars (that guy from Nockforce and those 2 guys from his Spiderman podcast) as well as Nolan sometimes(His utter contempt of what's happened to Adventure Time bugs me at times). However I can't help but get annoyed at some of the stupid jokes they make like the whole Dashcon ballpit thing from one of the earlier podcasts since it comes off as really immature and like a bunch of high school boys from the early 2000's trying to be "rad".
Back on whether he's lazy or not,I really am wondering when the hell he's gonna finish working on the 1st issue of that Loki IRL thing he's been wanting to do.Started out as a "ambitious" animated series that became a comic book stuck in Development Hell. I think the problem with him trying to do Loki is that he doesn't seem to know what he's doing.Considering he wanted to make it a cartoon but realized that it be a ton of work so he had to change it to a comic book. His progress with it is a few side comics and some of the characters.Part of the problem I feel he's suffering from is that his art takes awhile since its all angular and stylized(think Panty and Stocking if it was done by American punks) that its really hard for just one guy to do.That, and he can't stop making porn of his characters.Seriously, besides the main character,Bianca, every girl he draws in his webcomic becomes his "waifu". He has done more porn of his characters than any progress in his actual web comic.
Bottom line, I think Pan has great ideas but is bogged down when he executes them.He can't stop procrastinating and is having a hard time juggling a review, webcomic, college and wanting to be in the big leagues of animation. He can be a really impressive reviewer when he's serious like in his Gurren Lagan review and is great in the animation and presentaion aspect, but his humor is juvenile and immature and that really bogs down his review and makes him come off as a childish.
My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013Normally, I'm utterly creeped out by anyone who obsesses over cartoon women to that degree.
To be honest, and I'm not saying this to be a jerk, but I think Rebel has some mental issues. Drawing porn of his own characters, complaining about college and not giving a crap about it, obsessing over goth/animated girls, his attempts at shock humor.....He seems like a walking Trigger Warning.

I've heard a lot of good things about Rebel so tried watching his videos..Couldnt sit through them. Very disturbing and not funny.
I do like that he helped get Rude Removal out though.

Supports cartoons being cartoony!Like I said, the guy can do a real good job sometimes.Getting Rude Removal to be a thing is one of them. When he actually isn't making stupid, immature jokes he can be a great reviewer. But than he says something really stupid and immature which loses me.
My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013How old is this dude btw Scott? Judging by his art, I'm assuming he's in his early 20s
Supports cartoons being cartoony!I imagine early 20s, since he's in college.
I'm still shocked that Frederator would even partner with this guy. You would think they would watch his videos before subbing him.
edited 21st Nov '14 7:20:46 AM by TheLemsterPju
Yeah,I believe he's mentioned he's 21.
I'm guessing you don't know about the guy who did Salad Fingers is partnered as well. And of course,Superf*ckers.
Him being extremely crude isn't what surprises me about him joining Frederator. What confuses me is that Pan has mentioned not liking Bravest Warriors(essentially Cartoon Hangover's biggest cartoon) multiple times and making fun of Catbug(Basically Cartoon Hangover and Bravest Warrior's {{Creator's Pet}} ) several times.Plus I believe he wasn't too impressed with Bee and Puppycat at first. You'd think Frederator wouldn't be too happy with a guy who makes fun of their shows. Then again,PIEGUYRULZ has ranted on Fairly Odd Parents even after becoming one of Frederator's sponsors.
My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013So, do these cartoon reviewers like Pieguy and Rebel also make shows for Federator? Or does the company JUST sponsor them?
I bet Enter has it too lol.

Supports cartoons being cartoony! After Rebel Taxi got the sponsorship, he posted on his tumblr "Oh God, I hope Frederator doesn't find my tumblr *posts gif of guy from Family Guy running*".
...Pathetic.
So, I mentioned this in the underrated reviewers thread, but this has been one of my favorite things in terms of web shows so I decided to devote a topic to it. Rebel Taxi is a webshow inspired by Toonami and other such fair devoted whatever the shows creator, Pan Pizza, feels like, with a considerable fondness for Cartoon Network shows and related media.
One of the things I really like about the show is that while Pan is super sarcastic and crosses the line twice, he never divulges to Nostalgia Filter most of the time and he mostly stays optimistic when reviewing things and talking about cancelled shows. And I've just started making a page for it.
