Christopher Mitchell, born Christopher Mitchell Driver, (21 May 1948 — 22 February 2001), was a British actor best known for playing Gunner Parkin in It Ain't Half Hot, Mum. He was the son of British character actor Norman Mitchell.

He was a regular in Awful British Sex Comedies, including Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush, A Promise of Bed, and The Sex Thief, and starred in What's Up Superdoc!, taking over the role of Dr. Robert Todd from Nicholas Field, who had previously played him in What's Up Nurse!.

In 1974, he was cast as Gunner Parkin in It Aint Half Hot, Mum, and was involved in one of the series' central storylines; that Gunner Parkin was the bastard son of Sergeant Major Williams. During his time in the series, he also made guest appearances in Come Back Mrs. Noah, You're Only Young Twice, and Crossroads.

Once Half Hot, Mum wrapped up in 1981, his acting began to slow down. He played small recurring roles Only Fools and Horses and Never the Twain, but it wasn't enough. He made his final TV appearance in a 1991 episode of Minder, after this he developed a serious drinking problem.

He died of cancer at the age of 52, a month before his father died.
