I don't see much improvement there, honestly. Both the suggestion and the Bebop show some wear, but not a lot. The suggestion just replaces scratches and dents with dirt and rust. And I'm kind of leaning towards the scratches showing wear better, but I agree we should be able to find something more heavily worn.
Keep Until Better Image Suggested for me.
please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.What @2 said.
Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNot favoring the suggestions over the current. Maybe combining it with this◊?
Also possible might be the scene in Firefly where Mal buys the Serenity. Don't remember which episode it was in, though.
Check out my fanfiction!I considered that option as well when I was looking up more ships from Bebop, but I don't know... the name isn't visible on the current pic, and that it's part of a ship isn't evident in that one. It'd just seem a little weird pasting that pic next the current even if the caption made the connection clear. I'll skim over a few episodes tomorrow.
the Millenium Falcon is somewhat better than what we have so far. I'm not sure about the Discovery. I'd like something that's more futuristic compared to today.

please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.Maybe. I did have the distinct impression of Mal looking at it proudly, from slightly closer.
Check out my fanfiction!Millennium Falcon looks cobbled together from parts, but not dirty or scratched, from what I can see.
Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.Does "cobbled together from parts" count as being used? It's certainly not a new and fresh look, and most of the time that is done with used parts.
Check out my fanfiction!Plus, the Millennium Falcon is already in use on What a Piece of Junk. I'd like to see something different for this one. Personally, I'm leaning towards the pic of Serenity in the junkyard.
Good point. Which version is best for What a Piece of Junk, though?
Check out my fanfiction!Possible suggestion. The Tulip in Starhunter has huge sections of its exterior hull missing with the superstructure visible. I have it on DVD so I could go image-mining.

First one resolves to a 1x1 pixel.
Moon◊Sorry, my bad. Fixed.
Are there better images of those? They're not nearly clear enough.

Check out my fanfiction!Maybe the Hunter Gratzner◊ from Pitch Black?
Is that an engine and a cockpitnote attached to a line of containers?
Check out my fanfiction!Looks like it.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOnly had the time to check the first 4 episodes of Bebop, they didn't have any good frames. Except for this one which already turned in my previous GIS: [1]◊. I personally think it might be the best contender so far, but still not that great. Will look at a few more eps later.
please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.I'm not sure why, but I just get the distinct feeling that ship has been through a battle, rather than being old and worn down.
Check out my fanfiction!Probably because it's a fighter.
@Another Duck: I can go image mining on my copy of Starhunter season 1.

Feel free.
Check out my fanfiction!Clock is set.
The current image isn't awful, but we can barely see the "worn" look. It just looks like a brown ship.
I suggest something perhaps more obvious. The Romano Fafard from Dans Une Galaxie Pres De Chez Vous came to mind. It's visibly dirty and rusted (And also made out of tin cans)
