Apparently this comic is listed under Real Joke Name, although I debate how much it actually counts. Still, if it does...
Moon◊It's a little irritating that the pic's source strip isn't mentioned on either page, unless I'm overlooking it.
Panels 3 and 4 of the XKCD strip could work for Real Joke Name.
Isn't the picture making fun of a first and last name? Seems like it'd be easier to find a picture for Embarrassing First Name.
Eh, I just think that the pic could stay on Embarrassing First Name because the girl is clearly mortified because of her first name. I don't see why "Palmer" would be made fun of as it's a fairly common last name to have and isn't something people will look twice at or be ashamed of.

Macron's notesFixed the tag. It was showing up as "Discussion".
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman(I've seen that happen sometimes; what's the fix?)
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Tag fixing needs to hit the blue icon, and then hit save without fixing the tag. That needs to happen when a thread is moved back from the morgue to the workshop; the tag doesn't display automatically on the page.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanPalmer might not be funny on it's own, but it's the combination of... oh nevermind.
Clock is set. Since this is a duplicate page pic issue, we need to move on this one. I'm still voting to keep the pic on Embarrassing First Name and use the last two panels of the xkcd strip for Real Joke Name.

Personally I don't see why we can't just use the whole comic, but here are two crops regardless:
Moon◊
It's no issue for us to use entire xkcd strips, but the last two panels feel like they get enough of the joke across. I'm good with either.
I don't see what the first two add that's not present in the other two.
Check out my fanfiction!Indeed. Having all four seems like clutter to me, so I'm fine with the bottom two on RJN and the current on EFN.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. There's not? We have permission that exempts us from the copyright issues?
Yes. If it isn't mentioned in the IP policy sticky, it should be.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynmanxkcd is licensed under Creative Commons, not copyright, so it has a different and fewer rules to abide by.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeablePlus Randall Munroe explicitly gave us carte blanche usage of his comics, so there's that.
Moon◊Really? Can you provide a link?
Regardless, "This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial 2.5 License. This means you're free to copy and share these comics (but not to sell them)." is at the bottom of every xkcd.com page.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. It doesn't matter. CC license means if you're not making money and you credit the source, do whatever.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I'll put that note about xkcd in the thread criteria list.
The clock's up and we need to move on this. The last two panels of the xkcd strip are up on Real Joke Name and the page is tagged. Locking up.
Real Joke Name and Embarrassing First Name share the same panel from a Hark A Vagrant strip. Although it seems to fit both tropes, I lean towards keeping it on Embarrassing First Name and finding something else for Real Joke Name.
