Duel Disk: You're allowed to customise it however you want . Appearance: both a description or an image are fine.
History: As hammy as you like. But make it believable that there in the finals of the tournament arc
Duel Spirit: You are allowed one, but it isn't obligatory. However, its card must be in the character's deck. And can not effect the physical world.
Deck: You should use the following format. Links to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki are nice but not obligatory (I know how much of a chore that is) also standard rules apply, no meta, no gods, no "solitaire" decks and preferably no quasar. Apart from that if you can play it in advanced rated on DN, you can play it here

- Name: Giery Talon
- Age: 19
- Gender: male
- Duel Disk: His looks a lot like a large wrist covering gauntlet, which can let out two jagged "spikes" that hold cards, the first is for monster cards, the second for spells and traps.
- Appearance: One could say that, at a first glance, Giery looks like a Shojo Romance Manga protagonist, specifically one of Mayu Shinjo's. He has neatly combed blond hair, deep, dark blue eyes and a handsome, angular face. He has a muscular, broad shouldered frame. He usually wears a white jacket, a black button-up shirt, black leather pants, and boots. He is always carrying a collection of pictures on his person of his family.
- Personality: Giery, in this one, seems quite a bit different. It seems like he is always thinking of the strangest, most bizarre things, and is constantly falling over himself when trying to introduce his own ideas. He has a tendency to say the wrong thing at the wrong time, but its apparent through some of his mumblings that he is very "lab smart", but that he might not be very "people smart". There are some hints, though, that he might be more menacing than he lets on. Despite a silly demeanor and being a self admitted mama's boy, he shows some understanding of both tactics and how people's emotions work. He does, though, seem harmless (and ridiculous) enough...
- History: Giery, in this one, is quite a bit more odd than he was in the last time I played him. He seems to come from a family of rich people, and is actually very intelligent for his age. He enjoys two things; science and dueling. He has very good publicity currently, mainly due to the efforts of the publicist hired by his family.

Some Guy Or Something
- Name: Maximilian "Max" Cayman
- Age: 25
- Gender: Male
- Duel Disk: Green 5Ds-era Duel Disk with spikes of a kingly shade of purple along the outer edge.
- Appearance: Stout and bald, Max looks like an aged up school bully that kinda let himself go. He often is seen with a rather sadistic grin on his face. His eyes are usually obscured by a set of orange tinted goggles that he wears. Has a very unpleasant laugh. Wears a sleeveless green shirt with the same purple trim as his disk as well as a flowing green and purple cape with a dollar sign on the back with the S replaced by a M.
- Personality: This song pretty much sums up Max's personality.
In other words, Max doesn't really care about morals, especially if they interfere with his goal of becoming filthy stinking rich. He'll smash a few heads together, happily even, if it gets him closer to this goal. However, he prefers to work through subterfuge when possible, making "friends" so that they can help him get to the goal. He is surprisingly shrewd and can smell traps a mile away. After all, its hard to con a con.
- History: Max grew up in the inner city and quickly learned what he wanted to do with his life. He wanted to be filthy stinking rich. Being poor sucked and he quickly learned that there was a very definitive way for him to get his riches. He joined a gang at an early age and through manipulation and force, Max rose the ranks until he controlled the gang. Once there, he proceeded to expand it until no other gangs in the city could oppose his "Millianaire Crew". This tournament was the next step and he could taste the cash...
- Duel Spirit: The deck is nothing more than a tool. The cards are merely parts of the tool. Since when did parts of a tool talk to its user? (In layman's terms, no, Max does not have a Duel Spirit.)

And, as this looks interesting, I shall make a character. As I am lazy, I shall use an edited version of the one I used for the last time I Yu Gi Oh R Ped.
- Name: Gabriel Washington
- Age: 16
- Gender: Boy
- Duel Disk: It's absurdly elaborate. A device on his wrist controls machinery built into his trenchcoat, which when activated causes two wings to extend from hidden pockets. Each contains half of a normal duel disk, with the field spell slot and two monster and spell/trap slots on the left and the other three monster and spell/trap slots on the right, with the deck in the middle.
- Appearance: A tall lanky teen, with a generally bishonen appearence. Has blond hair with a fringe that runs into a point, gold-ish eyes and a pale complexion, and normally wears expensive clothing, white with gilded lines running through in complex patterns. This includes a long trenchcoat, which is the base for his overly elaborate duel disk.
- Personality: Gabriel attempts to be nicer than the typical spoiled rich kid, trying to earn some of what he has and help people, but there is still some of his spoiled nature within him.
- History: Gabriel is the son of a rich entrepreneur, and was relentlessly spoiled by his father while growing up. When he was young a professional duelist his father sponsored gave him a card, Master Hyperion, claiming that the card had told him to give him it. Gabriel didn't play but he kept the card with him and humored the duelist on it having spoken to him. Soon, he started seeing the card's duel spirit and the boy set about to start building a deck around the card. He took his father's offering of a custom duel disk, but refused aid with the cards, gathering them himself. He eventually gathered a reasonable deck around Hyperion, and set out to become a better player. Slowly, creeping from the shadow of the professional player who had given him the card, he rose up the ranks of duellists himself.

You have my go! And Laziness is something that really doesn't bother me; I typically recycle one of three characters into different settings. This coming from a D&D player...
And as you guys probably remember, Giery is not a new character.

I remember Giery. He was a little smug and had a super cray-cray spirit. Then SI took over him for the sole reason that he could force that character to out-asshole Sean, whose whole theme in creation was that he was an asshole.

Hmmm, so, have an idea, but...
Well, the setting is a tournament, see, and we all know that duelists in the Yu Gi Oh world are all completely batshit, so... Would it be okay to have someone with an insect deck who is, um... Not going to mince words here, just going to outright state that they would literally be Kamen Rider. >.> <.<
As long as there's reason given in back story, and you don't god mode it. I see no problem and welcome the nuttiness of it, however my experience with them is limited, so if Xar isn't comfortable with the idea then I'm afraid I'd have to back him (however knowing him in real life, I assume he'll be ok with it as its within some reason)

I have no objections. Just give a brief overview of the character in the bio and send me more info in a pm so I know what the hell is going on with the insanity.
That goes for everyone just send me and deg a PM about your plan for the long run or you can make it up as you go along. Just don't do anything majorly story changing (such as murdering a major NPC) without letting ONE of us know. This is just so that we won't be left floundering and having to make up something bullshitty and can keep the story going and fun for everyone.

Hey All. Myself and my friend had an Idea for a roleplay for Yu Gi Oh and have decided to create a interest check to see who is interested (go figure).
So things to mention;
THE STORY
In the first arc all the characters will be entered in a Tournament. This will be for you to get to know one another and your decks. The story is created but is a secret and will only appear proper post tournament arc.
