Does anyone use Poison moves that aren't Toxic/Toxic Spikes?

Holy Grail, huh? Cool story, bro.And the Bisharp line which is resistant to Ghost and Immune to poison.
I've heard of some Pokemon using Sludge Bomb/Sludge Wave/Poison Jab/Gunk Shot for STAB attack or coverage (where Fire and Ice and Bug aren't available).
Granted, I can see more people using them now, what with Fairy being weak to it.
Though, personally, I feel like Gengar with Venoshock could be a holy terror in a team that uses Toxic Spikes.
I have a message from another time...Well there is a valid reason to use Poison moves now as a Fairy counter for Pokemon that can't learn steel movies.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Personally, I don't think there'll be enough new Fairies added to really scare off much, seeing as Dragons themselves aren't all that common either.
Holy Grail, huh? Cool story, bro.Come to think of it, Venoshock could be better than Sludge Bomb if you have a Toxic Spikes user. A STAB 120 power attack that is SE against Gardevoir (who I think will get a boost by virtue of having STAB Fairy moves and immunity to Outrage).
"Wait, it's IV. Of course they are. They'd make IV for Dreamcast." - Enlong, on yet another FFIV remakeThere are yet to be announced retcons, though, and who knows what we're getting on that front.
Garchomp's Transformation Trinket will be a weapon that's also a musical instrument.

Ketchum's corollary to Clarke's Third Law: Any sufficiently advanced tactic is indistinguishable from blind luck.Elvis Garchomp confirmed
Holy Grail, huh? Cool story, bro. What's the general Gengar moveset, again? Shadow Ball, Hypnosis, Thunderbolt, Focus Blast?
I have a message from another time...Nah, that's for Tyranitar. Because he looks closer to Dragon Caesar/Dragonzord (and Godzilla).
Think so. Focus Miss could be replaced by Sludge Bomb/Venoshock now that Shadow Ball is neutral against Steel.

"Wait, it's IV. Of course they are. They'd make IV for Dreamcast." - Enlong, on yet another FFIV remakeStandard Gengar is Shadow Ball/Focus Blast/Substitute/*Filler*.
Filler is usually Will-O-Wisp, Pain Split, or Disable. Occasionally it's Hidden Power Fire (for Scizor).
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!Gen V Gengar seems to be more of a nuisance set but I think Gen VI just made a straight sweeper Gengar more viable.
"Wait, it's IV. Of course they are. They'd make IV for Dreamcast." - Enlong, on yet another FFIV remakeI use Poison when it's a Pokemon's STAB option, and in fact my Gengar makes more use of Sludge Bomb than Shadow Ball. It's Gengar's strongest move outside of things like Hyper Beam and Explosion, in fact. Oh, and Sludge Wave, but same point.
Poison's issue is that only Grass was weak to it and quite a few things resisted it. As a neutral attacking option, though, it's superior over Shadow Ball for dealing with Water, Electric, Grass, Fire, Flying, Bug, Normal, Fighting, Ice, Dragon, and Dark types.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I'm still crying for poor, poor Ice. Poor Amaura gonna get wreckd.
Holy Grail, huh? Cool story, bro.Ice is probably meant to be a Glass Cannon type of sorts.
"Wait, it's IV. Of course they are. They'd make IV for Dreamcast." - Enlong, on yet another FFIV remakeBesides always getting an Ice type too late in the game for it to really have any major impact, as well as Water types just being better ;_;
Also, I was wondering why Amaura felt kind of different to me, but now it seems like it'd really fit in the Neopets universe. (if Neopets even still exists)
Holy Grail, huh? Cool story, bro.I'm not exactly sure why, I think maybe something about the eyes, but Amaura kind of looks like a fakemon to me.
Might be the color actually. Most of the Gen VI Pokemon but are varied dark colors, but Amaura is entirely a bright blue.

The line art's pretty simplistic for a post-Gen III Pokémon, too.
"Wait, it's IV. Of course they are. They'd make IV for Dreamcast." - Enlong, on yet another FFIV remakeMan Tyrunt is really begging for fanart
Also what's the appropriate pronunciation for Braixen?

Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.Tyrunt and Minityra please.
"Wait, it's IV. Of course they are. They'd make IV for Dreamcast." - Enlong, on yet another FFIV remakeSo basically, it's simultaneously a defensive buff and an offensive nerf.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I'm calling it "Breyz-en" as in Brazen, personally.

This is an important point. The mega stones mean no other held item. Which can be huge, depending on who it is.
Of cours, there are tactical advantges to having the Mega Evolution.
Charizard, for example, can evolve, trigger Drought, and fire off a Solarbeam, all in the same turn.
I have a message from another time...
