$10/year? $30/year? $60/year? $100/year? $500/year? $1000/year?
Hard to pull an estimate down for me.
This year was about 200+$ I think. Not counting gifts for others.
And it was a light year for me.

Bleye knows Sabers. This year Ive spent around 100+ on games.
Used to be 600+/year.
This is a robbery. Give me all of your money and I'll kill you.Nowadays, not as much.
Admittedly, that didn't stop me from buying $100+ worth of games at the steam summer sale this year.
I would estimate...maybe 300ish this year?

To be perfectly honest, I should have been more responsible and saved it for my game development.
In total, I think I spent at least $300 this year, and that's probably the average for every other year too. I tend to not buy games at full price though, unless I really want them or I don't plan on spending a lot of money elsewhere for a while.
Probably only $40 per year, considering how long it takes me to save up even that. I wish it were more...
MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistHmmm... what games did I get this year... New games cost $100 in Australia, even though we've passed the US dollar in value... weird...
I almost always buy pre-owned or brand new games that are at least a year old. When I buy new, I get Pacific copies from a store that sells them - basically half price and more in line with the international price.
The answer to your question is about... $120 dollars.

What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything? Not counting presents? As in, stuff I bought myself? Probably $100-120.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.$150, because that's how much I got in gift cards in gifts over the last year.
It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing.Beggared if I know. Probably too much, then again, I don't smoke, hardly drink alcohol, don't do illegal drugs, gamble excessively or frequent houses of prostitution. I have to have an 'obby I can talk about in public, 8-)
Probably upwards of $500. I wish special editions weren't so damn sexy.
Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryI bought that amount in PSN cards alone.
I drink 17 cups of coffee in court.I probably spent 250$ this year, more or less.
Wait, are we counting stuff like League Of Legends' buy?
Then I have spent eigth thousand dollars and 250$.
( Not really. It's a joke that reference this. )

This year, I really began to get into modifying games and the such. I finally got my R4 working for my DS, and with the SD card I got for my digital camera I could finally softmod my Wii to run GBA games and Wii titles.
But I still have my PS 2. And I've bought 1 or 2 games for it this year, like Gran Turismo 4 and Metal Gear Solid 3. I even bought a few budget Wii titles when I had the money. Hell, I bought a Wii nunchuk yesterday.
This year, I'd say I've spent close to... I'll go with $75 - $100. I've spent more in the past, but this year I've been more busy with friends and computer stuff (new computer, you see) to really care about gaming.
Come sail your ships around me, and burn your bridges down.Since I bought the Wii U? Probably over $550 USD.

Upwards of $500 this year.
If you mean just video games though, closer to $200 this year.
I spend $168/year on my World Of Warcraft subscription (I pay in 3 month increments at $14/month), and I would guess that I've probably spent between $150 and $200 on games other than WoW over the course of the year — not to mention the latest WoW expansion. So I'll guess it to be around $400.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Hmm... forgot about my WoW subscription, actually. Although I Annual Pass'd it. And I got 4 months free from my Collector's Edition of D3.
Hmm... My Collector's Edition of D3... Okay, I have to revise my statement to around $700 in total, clsoe to $500 for video games.
I think I spent like $500-800 this year.
#IceBearForPresidentHmm. I know I spent upwards of $100 during the summer steam sales alone, and bought close to 10 games full price when they came out, as well as a ton of other miscellaneous purchases throughout the year...
Minimum $500. Probably haven't even played half of them yet. Good year for games though.
Say, how much do you expect to have spent by year's end?
Just wanted to get a picture of expectations.
