My god...
This is like a completely different level of trolling.
Kojima is truly the one of the great ones.
Alright, wow, that is MGS alright.
Yep◊.
Also, I guess the Phantom Pain page will have to change its name when it becomes official.

I don't know what the heck is going on exactly, but I'm into it. Since it apparently has Volgin, does that mean it's a sequel to MGS 3? Or is it all just a bunch of random stuff to get people speculating?
I saw the trailer on the Spike VGAs, and it looked incredible.
The game takes us to the beginning of the Genome Project and the other programs used to screw with genetics
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyThey aren't even trying to keep this secret.
Kojima said this last year.

We should totally rename Refuge in Audacity to Kojima Gambit or The Kojima or something
One of the things that became immidetly apparent after watching the trailer for the second time is that the protagonist seems to have no way to defend himself. His enemy's appear to be unstoppable killing machines, yet he has trouble moving. He is also blindfolded and appears to have someone escorting him. In the other Metal Gear games, Snake,Raiden, and Big Boss have always had a way to defend themselves when starting out, yet this guy appears to not be able to throw a small punch.
It's very interesting how they did this.
Okay.
We have fucking Volgin come back from the dead.
We have a defenseless Big Boss.
Solid Snake is apparently going to play a part in this game.
This... This is just nuts. Most of it is prolly trolling, but COME ON HOW COOL DOES THIS GAME SOUND SO FAR
Dude, Never Trust a Trailer, espeacially when it comes from Kojima.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."dijurikeit?
I also like how the change up the formula of the Escort Mission. Big Boss is defenseless, and relays on his bandaged faced buddy to defend him.

I just had a dark thought. How does a mission to rescue Chico and Paz result in Big Boss waking up from a lengthy coma inside of a supposedly British, Nazi-esque, military hospital and not having a left forearm?

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyDid anyone else notice the UK flag, and the fact that the steering wheel was on the right-hand side in the "car crash" scene?
So, a Snake with a missing arm, in England. Liquid, is that you?
Okay, probably not given that it's the wrong arm. Still.

Volgin happens. That's what.
...But yeah, I'm looking forward to all this. 2 Metal Gears! Maybe you fight a prototype? Even if that's already happened (excluding the Peace Walker or whatever), it'd still be cool.
...VOLGIN JACKS A METAL GEAR.
That's even if he's in these games. But let's face it, it'd be so kickass if he survived death-by-lightning and came back to hijack a Metal Gear.
It really does seem like Volgin's making a comeback, what with the strong evidence.

We already know that Ground Zeroes was, according to Kojima, a prequel to MGS 5 that used the same engine.
Of course, it's always possible that it could, however unlikely, not be Metal Gear-related, but in fact be Kojima's new project, "Project Ogres" which he said wasn't going to be another Metal Gear. Or, to be more accurate, it wasn't going to be Metal Gear Ground Zeroes. It's also possible that this could be like the MGS 2 trailer, where Snake was in places in the game where Raiden was the only character.
Or whatever The Phantom Pain is, it could be like Snatcher, which included all of those Metal Gear references, including Snake and an actual Metal Gear and Meryl, even though it technically wasn't a Metal Gear game.
...On the other hand, the trailer has The Boss's horse as a Winged Unicorn with a horn and wings made of fire, and a flying fire whale. I don't think figuring out exactly what's going on is possibile. Just that it has Kojima's fingerprints all over it.

I haven't seen the trailers, just some of the crazy GI Fs and such from the crazy fans. I'd love to see something other than Metal Gear from the guy, but come on - how cool does crazy Volgin Metal Gear shenanigans sound?
The stream for the VGA show. The trailer for The Phantom Pain is at about 10:30 in.
I can't believe that guy when he says that the trailer is 100% gameplay. At least, I wouldn't have been able to if not for the Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes trailer, made with the FOX Engine.
Kojima said that Project Ogre, like Ground Zeroes would also be open world. He also said that the "Ogre" was meant to actually have something to do with the game, and not just be a subtitle or development codename. Ogre is an english word that is closest to the Japanese words for "demon". The trailer for The Phantom Pain seems pretty damn demonic to me.

Found it on YouTube.
Okay, that trailer was pretty damn weird I tell you. Regardless of what is going on, I'm interested.
And we have more.
