Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

Just to follow up on my earlier post regarding the webcomic Crossing-Over, I heard back from the author, who has taken the page to the Sandbox namespace and said they will be further working on making a page that's compliant with wiki policy, particularly in regards to Zero Context Examples.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpToday's worklist:
- Boys Vs Girls: Stub trope with no examples, a bad description, crosswicking or indexing by ~Team Feathers Gurl 553.
- Fruity Robo: Stub work page; didn't notice in time that it has been moved there from elsewhere.
- Monstrum: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Robert Oppenheimer: ~Keya S, are there any references in works of fiction to Oppenheimer? We need these to justify having a page on him.
- The 2021 Gamers: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Wampus: Stub work page; creator messaged.
Do what you want with Monstrum. I give up.

I'm probably going to add more the Wampus page this Thursday and Sunday when I have the time. Whether or not it's going to be GOOD is another matter entirely.

XA live work page is not the place to put a work-in-progress. Offline notepad files are good for that, and if you want to see the formatting live, please use a Sandbox/ page.
There's a comic book series called The Manhattan Projects that features Oppenheimer's fictional twin brother. Oppenheimer himself appears in Stallion Gate by Martin Cruz Smith.
Today's worklist:
- Peggys Revenge: This page is in the wrong namespace (FanFic/ would be thr right one), but are you sure it's even under the right title, ~The Artful Bazza?
- Player Two Start: Sure that it's in the right namespace, ~Everybody Hates Billy? Web literature goes into Literature/.
Any other comments on Sandbox Mode?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSandbox Mode looks like a potentially decent idea that was launched prematurely. I wouldn't want to just destroy it but it definitely can't stay in its current state. Premature launches can be yanked back to YKTTW, right? If that's possible, I'd vote for that. This could be a good page with some more TLC and discussion.
I still vote for sending Sandbox Mode to YKTTW. It needs almost a complete rewrite, better examples (the only one it has manged to pick up since it was brought to anyone's attention is a ZCE, and it still has that third level bullet), and proper formatting. Otherwise, just cut it. Wide-Open Sandbox covers a lot of the concepts already.
Rocks fall, everyone miraculously survives. Are there volunteers for bringing Sandbox Mode back to YKTTW?
Otherwise, Playstation Eroge, a stub work page whose creator has been messaged is the only issue for today.
Oh, and ~jormis29, remember that web literature goes into Literature/, not WebOriginal/.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI'll go ahead and do it.
Rocks fall, everyone miraculously survives.Today's worklist:
- Polaris: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Twitter.Hipster Feminist: Work page in wrong namespace; creator messaged.
- Whoa Dave: Stub work page; creator messaged.
Today's worklist has Cucumber, a stub work page whose creator has been messaged.
Also, I want to put the question on table whether RiseOfEmpressMidnight.Raindrops Hearths Warming Eve Miracle and RiseOfEmpressMidnight.Legend Of The Pyrefrost Beowolf are acceptable subpages (and acceptable namespaces).
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNo and no? They're stub pages, for one. I see no reason those can't be folders on the main page.
Rocks fall, everyone miraculously survives.I've added some more content to Cucumber now
Wheres The Dog seems to be an older trope (history goes back to 2012 at least) that was launched without a YKTTW. There are zero wicks and it's not indexed, though there are 5 examples. I think this one should go through YKTTW if it isn't already submitted there.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Wheres The Dog is badly done and has a line of dialogue title. I'd support a cut.
Otherwise, worklist:
- Hamburg U And S Bahn: By ~Lt Fedora, why do we have this? Are there any works set in these?
- Human Bodies: Badly written unindexed stub trope. Had already a pro-cut discussion in the discussion page a few months ago.
- Sliding Scale Of Video Game Obscurity: Repost of a page cut a month ago, because it was subjective as hell and sliding scales are frowned upon.
Regarding the Hamburg U and S Bahn, yes. It's an iconic and very important part of Hamburg, so I feel it's deserving of its own page.
How is it used in fiction? Iconic and important are something to respect, but TV Tropes Useful Notes pages are to advise on uses of historical people, landmarks, events, etc., in fiction, not to document them. (That's Wikipedia's job. )

Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettToday's worklist is only The Tick, a stub work page whose creator has been messaged.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI've expanded the description and added several examples, though it is still a stub.
Wheres The Dog strikes me as (in one of my rare moments of having a very strong opinion about an entire page's value) a terrible idea, Not A Trope, and a poorly-written page to boot. I wouldn't even bother sending it through YKTTW. Seconding a cut.

Keeper of The Celestial FlameWhat this says.
Also, I say we merge all pages related to Rise of Empress Midnight to it's fanfic page. They don't really carry enough weight to constitute their own pages.
