CONGRATULATIONS!
........
Wait, Garupan counts as science-fiction? Sidonia I get, but I don't see anything science-fictiony about Garupan.
The carbon lining, supercarrier cities not enough? Those alone qualify for Spec-Fic.

OK, I dare you guys to look at this and not laugh your asses off.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Sorry, couldn't hold back the laughs.
Challenge complete.
Sooo deadly, within freedom to run.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.So, does that mean Shiho is actually Akuma?
No, it means that either her unseen dad or an ancestor of either said dad or her mom is almost certainly either Akuma or a Captain Ersatz.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Erika has learned the "Joestar Family Secret Technique" quite well.
Also, congratulations to Girls und Panzer Der Film for winning a Seiun Award! (Joining the likes of Space Battleship Yamato—both the original and the 2199 iteration—and Cowboy Bebop? Damn... )

"Learn as if you will live forever, live as if you will die tomorrow."... Please tell me it's not about a planned new movie whose premise is that MEXT is trying to shut down Ooarai Girl's Academy yet again. Seriously, failing twice wasn't enough?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. If there is a continuation, I hope they devise a novel way to keep Girls und Panzer fresh and interesting. The "school being closed" thing really only works once, and with the movie, it was a bit of a stretch. It won't work a third time
The only resource you need for tropesIMO, the movie wasn't a total rehash/retread of the TV series plot, they just explore the possibility of what if MEXT didn't kept their word in not decommissioning Oarai since it was just a verbal agreement between the Anzu/Yuzu/Momo and MEXT guy. Besides, the movie showed the schoolship being closed and how the characters handled it and they just need to win a battle with the University team in order to take back the schoolship from total closure(this time there's a written document so no excuses). It's a different story in the sequel though, now then I'll now complain.

So the time has finally come.
World Sensha-do tournament!
Couldn't just be a tournament?
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. They've been subtly making mentions of this in the series and the movie. Heck, one of the objectives of MEXT in promoting Sensha-Do in the story is because Japan is going to host the World Tournament. IIRC Maho and Alice have already been selected as part of the national team and Shiho is being offered a position related to this (which she almost declines due to the treatment of Ooarai in the movie),
Given GnP's track record of bringing up topics and characters who have only been mentioned in passing, It would make sense that the show would someday touch upon this major event. Also, I want to see other countries' approach to Sensha-Do. And I think there's a character in the Little Army manga who was once Miho's crewmate, but had to go and live in Germany. She might come back as the head or at least a part of the German Sensha-Do crew.
In any case, closing down Ooarai again would not be a good storyline,
World Sensha-Do Tournament..
They need to win Worlds, or this time all the school ships will be closed.
What's that a PV for?
For the next iteration. Still no news if its a series or another movie.
You think with all the success Ooarai has gotten, they'd be raking up the money from either private supporters or the damn government.
Still, good to know there's a new Gn P coming up.
"But isn't that dangerous?"
"Don't worry, their fatigues are coated with carbon. Perfectly safe."
Should've checked the list. Why would there be infantry in a Sensha-do match? That spells all sorts of danger.
Gotta love the new winter setting :) Hoping it won't be a movie under any circumstance, otherwise, with the TPP knocking on our doorsteps, there won't be a chance to see it at all.
The only resource you need for tropes
Girls und Panzer Der Film wins one of Japan's most prestigious Science-Fiction awards.
Congratulations are in order.
