It would be hilarious if Captain Boomerang showed up in this show.
Flash villain, but I doubt that would stop the producers from using him anyway.
The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again.Well, they already used Deathstroke and Deadshot (who are traditionally Teen Titan's and Batman's foes) anyway.
Think about it: Arrow vs. Boomerang!

I'm going to make a guess and say that some version fo the League of Assassins used the island as a training ground, thus Slade's mask and the appearance of Deadshot, both hired killers of a sort in the comics.
Firefly has officially been confirmed for episode 10, so there's another non-GA villain in the mix... In fact, we've only had one strictly Green Arrow villain... I don't know what this says about his rouge's gallery.
The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again.I was gonna call it! I was gonna make a prediction! Then I thought: "Nah, another Batman enemy? Unlikely!"
On an ever so slightly more serious note, I'd like to see Onomatopoeia. Because it'd be hilarious. Or terrifying. Depends how well they played it.
I'd like to see The Question, but he is probably not Dark And Edgy enough if done right...
"You can reply to this Message!". . . ? Are we thinking of the same Question?
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.comWell, I think of the DCAU Question, as I've never really have gotten the chance to read some of his comics.
So might just be Adaptation Displacement for me.
On the other hand, I just imagined the "Aglet" dialogue with this version of Green Arrow...

"You can reply to this Message!"I think a creepy highly skilled conspiracy theorist who wears a blank face mask and might be both right *and* crazy is plenty edgy enough.
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.comSo, new episode...
At it ends with Oliver being arrested for his vigilante activities
I admit, I was not expecting this happen this soon. Eventually, yeah, but it seems rather early in the show for an plotpoint like this.
But hey, if the next episode preview is any indication, we'll be seeing Deathstroke soon
Well, as this very forum has mentioned multiple times, he basically left behind a bodycount the size of Antietam in the first few episodes.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatYes but you'd expect that for a season ender.
Trump delenda estThoughts:
- I don't know what Walter is like in the comics, but I think the way he's being handled here is interesting. Not sure how long he's going to live after finding the Queen's Gambit, though.
- Was Paul Blackthorne drunk during shooting? His American accent seemed distinctly... mushier than usual.
- Laurel's dialogue seemed very, VERY heavy handed.
- I liked the use of the voice changer.
- BARROWMAN! *shakes fist*
- Wow, Thea managed to not be annoying for once.
- And the cliffhanger... this should be good.
- I was a bit surprised by the mention of Bludhaven, which continues to raise questions about the extent to which this show fits into a bigger universe.

Not to mention the climax takes place at Iron Heights Penitentiary, which is traditionally located in Keystone City. Maybe a lot of the superhero home towns are located near each other.
Also, I'm calling it now John Barrowman is Maxwell Lord.
The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again. So, next week, we get some backstory. The question is, how does Ollie stay out of prison?
Wild idea: Ollie's mom is an Expy of Veronica Cale, a Wonder Woman villain.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117Okay. That would be awesome...
"You can reply to this Message!"Slowly going off Ollie's story line. None of that episode really worked for me, to be honest. Anyone else cringe at the Arrow/Laurel meetings?
Not really. He misses her, he cares for her, he wanted to tell her he's changed, A LOT. But he can't.
Not till next week, at least.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117I cringed at her "I used to think you could do good inside the law but I was wrong" speech. It's such a blatant ego-stroking for Ollie and heavy-handed endorsement of vigilantism that I couldn't take it seriously.
To be fair, she retracts that sentiment at the end of the episode, when she finds out that Ollie is a psycho murderer.
The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again. That's a little harsh. He saw some guy strangling the woman he still has feelings for, he overreacted.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117He's a vigilante. Over-reacting is his thing. It's when characters start agreeing with and condoning those over-reactions that the face-palming starts.
Psycho Killer? Qu'est-ce que c'est?
Run run, run run awaaaay...
I'm loving this series from beginning to end. It's like Akumetsu, but with less showmanship and more Assasins Creed and Yamakasi antics. I'm also perfectly comfortable with the actions of the protagonist (maybe it's his handsomeness distracting me); the only thing I'm worried about is that he might get caught... because then he wouldn't be able to carry out his mission.
I also find it curious that until now on this thread all comments have been about comparisons with the comics, worrying about the "quality" and "badassitude" of the "rogues", and where the protagonist's Character Alignment fell and why the authors shouldn't agree with him, rather than, say, the heavy handed and delicious pandering to OWS themes.
An entire villain's list of Asshole Victim Corrupt Corporate Executives who resort to murder, arson, blackmail, and so on to cover up for their embezzlements, toxic dumping, and so on? A legal system that is impotent to stop them and in fact is so corrupt it's nothing more than a tool for them? But there's two months left until Christmas! What gives?
No, the only thing this story is missing is massive civil sector (you know, NGO's and such) fighting their own fight, rather than a few isolated benevolent people in the police and DA corps. You'd think these people would know to protest?
As for the "guys in the hospital" from the first episode, I don't think it's a demonstration of the character being "good enough" to be a Technical Pacifist; that trope is retarded, a Necessary Weasel to make vigilantes semi-acceptable. No, he just kicked their asses hard enough that they stopped moving. If they were breathing afterwards, it was a lucky accident. As for the guy who saw his face, I presume he's dead, just not mentioned.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
That's partially the problem though. She's in for a rude awakening, and it's probably going to be the driving force of the episode. And I'm gonna find it really hard to sympathise with her when it happens.
