[up] That Trailer plus the description on our Winter 2013 Anime page give me the impression that all it took to stop that hero from slaying the queen of the demons was for said demon to flash her cleavage.

Should I withhold judgement?

Depends. How do you feel about Spice And Wolf?

The demon queen uses charts and graphs to stop him, actually. Try reading the first chapter of the Maoyuu Maou Yuusha - "Be mine, Hero" "I refuse!" manga adaptation on Batoto.

[up][up] I... Placed it on hold until I dropped it by default when I could never find myself compelled enough to continue it.

But wouldn't actually call it bad.

[up] Are you telling me it's not going to be full of fanservice? Talk about misleading advertising (I was thinking it might be like Hagure Yuusha No Estetica)!

Another case of lure them in with X, keep them with Y?

The (demon queen's) in-series reaction to (her own) large breasts: USELESS MEAT!

She legitimately thinks that she's not attractive.

Maoyuu, at least the 2 or 3 manga adaptations I read, is fairly fanservice lite. There's a lot of focus on the romance between the two leads, but the main focus is on economics believe it or not.

There's lots and lots of talking and no fanservice. I concur.

Are they going to save the world with economics? It is like Spice And Wolf! If their goal was to save the world.

Seriously sounds like a pretty interesting premise.

I doubt I'll be able to follow it all the way through, but I will have to watch the first episode now.

Are they going to save the world with economics?

That's the plan, yes.

Though it's quite possible anime will be more... graphic than novels and mangas. I hope they will keep fansrvice on moderate level.

[up] I wish they'd keep it fanservice-free, or at least fanservice-lite.

I enjoyed the first season of Haganai well enough, although I should really getting around to reading the novels as well. That and Maoyuu Maou Yuusha are probably the only must watches on my list, unless something changes.

A lot of the anime on the list seems to be adapted from 4koma manga. I've heard good things about series that started from 4koma, like Lucky Star, but I've also heard some pretty awful criticism. I'm mixed about the issue.

I'm looking forward to the mountain climbing one, though.

For what it's worth, I suspect that GJ-bu and Mangirl are going to air as shorts

Fifth series for spring: Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko

...Can't say I'm looking forward to it

IMO, it looks more appealing than 80% of the list. Looks like I have my sixth show for the season.

Spring, not winter. There aren't even six shows known for spring yet

[up][up][up][up] I didn't get it. is the protag's wish to be outed as a pervert?

There's no Part 1, I just thought it was funny at the time.

[up] From reading Crunchyroll News's synopsis, it sounds like the protagonist is a Covert Pervert who is tired of people seeing him as a Nice Guy but he's too much of a coward to let people see the real person. http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2012/11/11-1/video-hentai-ouji-to-warawanai-neko-anime-preview

But anyway, the anime staff looks it has great people on it so it should be handled well by JC Staff. This is at least B-level if not as A-level for them so it should be one of their better ones.

I read manga and though it isn't best thing ever it's quite fun and cute.

Eh. The only thing that looks remotely interesting to me are the second seasons of AKB 0048 and Haganai.
