Pokémon Role-Playing Game Interest Check Thread.

My trainer uses Ghosts, so I couldn´t use a normal Riolu...an undead one should be Ghost type, though

Man, you guys're makin Geoff jealous, with all your fancy shmancy Riolus and shinies and such when he's just got two pokemon with him, one of which was a gift.

Well, Kevin also only has two Pokémon. Although one of them is a Riolu.

I went out for the six even though I can't usually juggle more than two characters, but there we go. That said, I get to try out a load of dynamics and character types at once.

I thought starting with four would be enough for now, but I'll probably get more in the future, maybe sooner than I think, I dunno.

Well I always try to go for a full team, and just now I noticed how many Riolus/Lucario we have here, oh dear

I'll probably catch a new Pokémon as soon as we start.

The only for me to 'catch' new Pokemon is to befriend them, since I have no trainer.

Are you planning on creating a trainer at some point or having them caught by someone random?

I'm not planning on a trainer of my own. I might let a PC capture them at some point.

I edited my post with the sixth Pokémon, Mach the Floatzel, I can't believe I forgot him, Floatzel is one of my favorite Pokémon ever, as well as putting some extra info about Glen's personality.

I also noticed we also have quite a few Zoruas/Zoroark here =V

Ah, okay.

Just two, I think.

Three actually (Glen, Zodiac and Hex), one more and we would have as many Zoruas/Zoroarks as we have Riolus/Lucarios (of them we have Audrey, Leo, Ace and Aurum, unless I missed one somehow)

Well, both the Riolu and Zorua lines are...well, crazy popular. It also helps that they both seem to be counterparts. Or at least, they're pretty similar.

You mean with the movie debut?

Oh yeah, that's another factor too, I guess.

Minor Update!

Added Wisp the Gengar in exchange for Sunrise the Espeon to my Sign-up sheet. Also established that I do have one more Pokémon that will be revealed in-RP after it's started, once I decide on it, at least.

This means that we can likely begin the process of getting things started sometime tomorrow. Stay tuned.

Well, thinking about it. Yea. I'm gonna go with either two of these characters. You guys choose (or vote them down and say I should make something brand new).

Either the Nick Viano I listed here, with a few changes. Mostly that he's working under a pokemon professor as an intern (or someone plot capable of sending me out me out on a quest), a slightly different team (that RP was a Getting The Band Back Together). He'd be needing a reason to be out and about and interacting with the other P Cs (I'll leave that to you Luke)

The alternate is a younger, Gender Flipped, Jacklyn Viano, who is starting her journey to become a pokemon master (having her run into the other PCs doesn't sound like a problem at all).

It's up to you all to decide. I'm inclined for the former, since it's a interesting twist on the standard formula.

I think either will work, so pick whichever characters you want to go with. That's my opinion, anyway.

Alright, I'm just about ready to get a proper Discussion Thread started so that we can get in the process of kicking things off properly. The only issue is, well...this RP is currently lacking a proper name. Obviously the title of this thread is a placeholder.

So, any suggestions for what the name of our thread should be?
