Chinese Zodiac

I don't know about you, but I think the Chinese Zodiac is an interesting topic to examine. Just take a look at the following:

• Rat – agitated, charming, destructive, disquiet, energetic, gamblers, generous, greedy, honest, humorous, intellectual, jolly, lovable, manipulative, meticulous, of good counsel, persistent, petty, power-hungry, profiteering, seductive, sentimental, sociable, suspicious, tiresome
• Ox – authoritarian, confidence-inspiring, conventional, eloquent, equilibrated, familial, hard-working, jealous, leaders, loners, long-suffering, loutish, methodical, misunderstood, original, patient, precise, proud, reserved, resistant to change, rigid, self-sacrificing, silent, slow, sore losers, strong, stubborn, tenacious, vindictive

Some side notes: In Vietnam, they use the Water Buffalo instead of the Ox. In Vietnam, they use the Cat instead of the Rabbit. The Goat is also called a Ram or Sheep. The Snake is also called a Serpent. In Japan, they use the Boar instead of the Pig. In Northern Thailand, they use the Elephant instead of the Pig.

As you can see, there's a lot of positive and negative qualities with each animal. It goes without saying that everyone has encountered someone with a number of these qualities!

Though, I don't really put much trust in things like astrology and the zodiac.

I was born in a snake year and I must say, that describes me relatively well.

Yeah, I'm pretty much a textbook metal rooster. I'm blunt, aggressive and usually too far up his own arse self-confident to be scared of anything.

That sounds at least vaguely accurate. :o

I'm only half of the things the pig is. Probably less.

These kinds of things are always vague enough to confirmation bias to do the rest. I'm sure you could look at any of them and feel "that describes me, somewhat".

Sufjan Stevens did a kickass album about the zodiac, back before he was indie-famous. Happy Year of the Dragon, everyone.

I'm a Fire Tiger. Of course, I would hope the name I'm going by, and my avatar would hint the tiger part at least! I think a number of the descriptions about the Tiger are quite appropriate for me!

I'm a Wood Rat, if memory serves.

The legend behind the zodiac I found more interesting though.

I'm a Wood Pig.

This vaguely describes me. My mom always said I was too nice when we played Monopoly

Water Monkey.

Water monkey all up ins. I generally fit the traits of the water monkey. Weiss and I were amused when looking up our compatibility on crappy sites of dubious veracity for fun. They all more or less said "Not the perfect match but these two will want to fuck like rabbits. No matter what happened. Argument? SEX. Happy times? SEX. Bored? SEX. Sad? SEX."

Sex is the answer to all problems.

What element is 94? I fit several of the Dog requirements, but really, with that many traits you're bound to match on some.
