Without rules of form
There can never be haiku
They define them, fool
I am no fool
But I am lazy
Like the incoming spring
It's haiku battle
What the hell did you expect?

Like winter and spring
This battle rages onwards
Eternally ragey.

MEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEI have summoned here
to join my side in this fight
help from the heavens:
thy micturations are to me
As plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee.
Groop I implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes.
And hooptiously drangle me
with crinkly bindlewurdles,
Or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts
with my blurglecruncheon,
see if I don't!"
I fully concede
that this was not a haiku.
Still, I think I win.

Quod gratis asseritur, gratis negatur. But you have cheated.
You cannot win in that way.
Try again, peasant.

Gave them our reactions, our explosions, all that was ours For graphs of passion and charts of stars...I shall try my hand.
A challenger approaches
Like the summer's storm

Thread bump in the spring.
Please revive, Haiku Battles.
I miss you so much.
Sakan4k came.
No one answered his challenge
for 4 months, or so.

Quod gratis asseritur, gratis negatur.Wow, I love this thread
I should really go to bed
Haikus in my head
(I make haikus rhyme
It helps me have a good time
And it's not a crime)
Oh, Midnight Rambler?
I disagree with that post.
It is TOO a crime!
A new opponent,
NESgamer draws near,
What is your command?
"If you have any beefs with Santa, do remember to SETTLE IT IN SMASH!" Quote by EdveedAlready I know:
you are not a strong nemesis;
asking for orders.
This is your midnight.
Rambling rhymes do you no good.
Your haiku will fail.

Quod gratis asseritur, gratis negatur.Rain falls heavy here
These few tears of the heavens
Mourn your words' failure.
The heart of haiku:
"haiku is simplicity."
You, too, are simple.
Haiku has beauty
underlined by simple form.
This is where you fail.
Simplicity rules
But is itself an iron chain:
It weighs you down
Defy the simple.
Rise to new heights of diction,
Or are you simple?
Impossible things,
do; invisible things, see;
Row, fight the power.
If I rise higher,
I will ascend to the stars
and will not be heard.
Instead I stay here,
showing you how it is done,
the art of haiku.
I am so noble:
I channel from higher spheres
awesomeness on you.
Best, you're good at this
But as a master poet
I'll defeat you yet
Fools prop up themselves
With words that hold no water
But the wise are meek
Perhaps I'm the fool
With these backhanded insults
I must improve too.
Glad to see this thread
Is back up again. So cool.
Let us celebrate!
No?!? Then screw yourself

Thou art but a brute,
Thou shalt not get a true lute,
Fall and be real mute!
"If you have any beefs with Santa, do remember to SETTLE IT IN SMASH!" Quote by EdveedY'all know that I am
The baddest of the bad, man
Just 2fresh4u
This warm tropical winter,
It keeps me from thinking
