FIMFiction Account MLPMST PageOkay, the National Ignition Facility is officially the best name for a laboratory of all time ever.
Gimme yer lunch money, dweeb. They should have adverts with lots of explosions and scantily clad females.
It would be glorious and kids would be interested in science again.
FIMFiction Account MLPMST PageIt sounds like a hangar full of loonies with zippos setting fire to random shit.
For SCIENCE!!!
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'I actually support this idea.

inb4 death star jokes.
The test chamber looks like Cerebro from X-Men.
"Urge to thump... rising." -FighteerWow, interesting. Looks like fusion power is lot more closer (and possible) than I thought.
Well, breakeven point is a huge milestone, but there's a long way between working-in-a-lab and a functional commercial power plant. Still, it's a crucial step!
A brighter future for a darker age."That blast came from the Death Star! That thing's operational!"
Seriously, pretty awesome stuff.

Swordplay and writing blog. Purveyor of weeaboo fightin' magic.Yay, nuclear fusion!
It's just a shame that firing the laser to create the temperatures needed for fusion will create more energy than the fusion does.
"Steel wins battles. Gold wins wars."Sounds like that laser would go together quite nicely with that real life Gundam stationed over in Japan.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadBut can it kill James Bond?
Wanna see the random crap I get up to? Me neither. http://jesseskwilliams.tumblr.com/It will if the villain will just stop talking.

Still impossible. Bond can't die another day because tomorrow never dies.
(rimshot)
^ But he only lives twice.
Seriously, that is some firepower.
And good news for nuclear fusion hopefuls! It appears they are close to reaching the break-even point for ignition by laser. Should that happen we'll be advancing the Kardashev Scale in no time!
