2 or 3.
Of the options shown, I'd prefer either 3 or the current picture. Between the two, I lack preference.
Current: [1]◊. Pretty good, IMO. Claws are optional (the suggestions depict clawed gauntlets, not natural claws, anyway), and I like the art style. Suggestions have weird proportions (head too big?), have a weird angle (supposed to look like a fish-eye lens?), and are too pink, respectively.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I really liked the old Ryoko Asakura pic that was here before...
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.I think the current picture is OK. The first two suggestions don't really work, since the claws aren't natural.
It does not matter who I am. What matters is, who will you become? - motto of Omsk BirdI lean toward the current.
Claws being natural has no bearing on the trope, though. Both real and costumes are included.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Claws aren't a necessary part of being a Cat Girl tho, many don't have them. Clawed gauntlets and no claws at all seem equally illustrative. And I think the current picture looks better.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Ichigo is already the page picture for Analysis.Cat Girl. If you want something showing the Faux Paw, perhaps you could switch out the 3 suggestion with that the picture there.
The rest of the suggestions would be great for an ImageLinks.Cat Girl page. I've thought about making one from time to time but never got around to it.

I think the current one is pretty good as-is.
I don't understand the purpose of this page at all. As is, Lithe, Lyre, whichever one that is, part of a whole race/society/breed of cat people, and because they're from a game about War, most of the cats are men.
She seems more appropriate on Cat Folk or Our Werebeasts Are Different but again, what exactly is this trope. Cat people who are girls, why is that considered splittable from Cat Folk? Or is it a cat centric Animal Motifs subtrope? Still doesn't really explain why there is a whole page aimed at girls. The page quote talks about Spider-man and black cat but what about Puma, what about Catman, The Black Panther or Sabertooth?
There are plenty of beastly cat men and plenty of normal men with Cat Motifs. Exactly what would distinguish someone as an example good enough to be a page image? What exactly distinguishes this page enough to justify its existence?
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackThat's a question for TRS, not this subforum. The basic answer are that Cat Girls are a popular enough character type that they get their own page.

Reaction Image RepositoryIf you take the time to closely read the entire defintion of Cat Folk and the entire definition of Cat Girl, you will find that the difference is very clearly spelled out.
While there is overlap between Cat Girl and Cat Folk, they are not the same thing. Cat Girl is also not just "female Cat Folk". In fact, many female Cat Folk would not qualify to be a Cat Girl, and many a Cat Girl would not qualify to be a Cat Folk.
A Cat Girl is a character with a specific look, not a type of creature. A Cat Girl may be part of actual species of cat people, but it can also be a regular human wearing costume. There are Real Life catgirls, as can be seen by the cosplayers at many an anime convention. Nor do you have to be female to be a Cat Girl. Cat Boy is included in the same trope.
Cat Folk are not a type of character. They are a type of fictional non-human species. Cat Folk includes many species which are not included under Cat Girl. The page picture is on Cat Folk is a perfect example of a Cat Folk species which does not have the right type of look to be a Cat Girl, because it has fur all over and has an animal like face. The treecats from the Honor Harrington book would also be an example of Cat Folk.
Cat Folk and Cat Girl only overlap when you have an entire fictional species of people that have the Cat Girl look. See this species◊ from Cat Planet Cuties for an example of a species that is both Cat Girl and Cat Folk.
Character like Sabretooth from X Men are, properly speaking, neither Cat Girl nor Cat Folk. Sabretooth is an individual mutant, not an entire species, therefore he is not Cat Folk. He also does not have cat ears or a cat tail, real or costume, therefore he isn't really a good example of Cat Boy. Instead, he is an Animal Themed Super Being.

Cat Girl is a specific variant (that is common enough for its own article) of Little Bit Beastly, I believe.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. In short, yes. The distingueshing feature of the Cat Girl is not that she is female but that she is Little Bit Beastly in appearance.
The Japanese word for it is actually more accurate:
Neko = Cat Mimi = Ears.
It is a charater with cat ears, but otherwise mostly human appearance.
Historically such characters have been predominatly female, especially in Japan, which is why the term "Cat Girl" is used so much in anime fandom. One might compare it to bunny ears in the West, which are also strongly associated with females.
However, a Little Bit Beastly male with cat ears and tail would be a Cat Boy, which we treat as being the same trope.
Cat Folk was created because a lot of people were misusing Cat Girl for characters that were not Little Bit Beastly. A Little Bit Beastly Cat Folk species would be both Cat Girl and Cat Folk. Any non-Little Bit Beastly Cat Folk species would be Cat Folk but not Cat Girl.

Would anyone mind if I mirror image the current picture so that the character is facing inward to the article? IMHO, that would look better.
I don't mind it as is.
So, consensus seems to be to keep the image. Also, I'd like to point out the image got an overwhelming majority in the previous topic.
I think we're done here.
Belief or disbelief rests with you.
Current picture is okay, but lacks the claw aspect of the trope. I think these pictures which have a more dynamic pose and show off the claws along with the tail and ears are a bit better. Or we can go for the cutie aspect of the trope.
