Wow, no kidding, I didn't even realize it until you mentioned it just now. This page is less a trope and more of a STOP MAKIN FUN OF ME whiny rantfest.
Are there any fat people in fiction that doesn't fit this trope? If so, make it adversions only.
I've never actually had any input in a description rewrite, so forgive me if I'm wrong, but this needs a rewrite, for sure. It's a bit on the long-winded side, and scathingly bitter. Can't we just describe a character type without bashing existence of said type?

I was going to paste the original in and just edit it a little to start with, but I ended up deleting most of it and replacing it with a really simple description. Does that first paragraph I wrote accurately describe the trope?

After our threads on this, Cookie Cutter Cuties and Hollywood Thin, maybe we should add a new default TRS heading for Angry Fat Troper.

But seriously, there are definitely some tropers out there that have an axe to grind against certain appearance tropes, instead of, you know, deciding they're not a personal attack against them and moving on.

Y'know what, Raso? I agree with you. This trope isn't very prevalent. It seems discredited. Newer overweight characters tend to fall under other tropes in the High Fat Index.

Best to get rid of it and move the examples to Fat Bastard, Fat Idiot, Jabba Table Manners, ect, since that's all this trope really is.

The bulk of the current trope description for Fat Slob is just a big, whiny, excuse-filled rant. It reads like a weight-flipped version of the old "Hollywood Thin" page.
Could we get something more neutral, please?
