I'm pretty sure they declared it won't come back under that name, and are concentrating on other works before getting back to that trope, possibly when they're done with most/all works, and can move onto tropes to repair/cut/restore.

Naughty Tentacles was zapped before the P5 came into being, as being explicitly cited for being the cause of the The Second Google Incident. As said it's not coming back under that name, and a reworked version not so prone to inappropriate content (much of it wasn't "inappropriate", but even if not exclusively a trope for porn it is one used not-infrequently in porn) is low on the list of priorities at the moment.

Other than the overt sexual elements is there a difference between Naughty Tentacles and Tentacle Rope?

Tentacle Rope is for restraining. Naughty Tentacles can also be as genitals.

Also, I think I'll go flag it and the other works on Pages Cut Under The Policy Change once we have resolved our current two works. Given that Fate ended up on the Hentai index, it's likely that there are more accidental cuts in there with less active fanbases.

I rememeber at one point that something like "Prurient Prehensile [something]" was proposed as a rename, but since the rewrite would have to focus on the non-pruirent examples, I think a more neutral name would have to be found...maybe The Trope That Shall Not Be Named or The Trope Whose Name We No Longer Speak.

The only thing I came up here is Sexacles. Or maybe split between Tentacle Rape and Consentacles.

Two items that mostly seem to be waiting on someone to read them... The panel doesn't seem to be swamped at the moment.

Most of these names seem to suffer from the problem of not being something anyone would try searching for if they didn't already know the name of the trope.

We do also need to flag just about everything from the original cut-spree, which would include Naughty Tentacles, among other things.

well most of the items we have not reviewed that I have first hand knowledge of I can safely say nuke them from orbit, however many of the items on the list I don't know any thing abut so I'll let some one else speak for them.

I just noticed something odd checking out the sandbox pages. It's Not Porn, It's an Index was restored, but not it's Headscratchers subpage. Seems like that ought to come back too.

Not necessarily. IIRC, Naughty Tentacles also covered cases of Tentacle Rope that were clearly made so that they strongly evoked the imagery of the trope's porn-specific ancestor, while still remaining within the bounds of PG-13. Naughty Tentacles' original article image was from a Mai Hime example that showed that.
