Inspired by this thread, I've noticed that this wiki doesn't have a dedicated cleanup thread for negativity.
As we all know, Complaining About Shows You Don't Like, Creator Bashing and other negativity isn't desired on the wiki, except in a few selected areas like reviews and several Darth Wiki pages (and even then, with limitations). And yet, it's one of the most common sins wiki contributors can make.
So, if you find a page, TLP or discussion whose content seems like a straight-up insult or any other bitching - including complainy soapboxing -, you might ask here for help with removing said content.
The sandbox for this project is located at Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining.

The same user also added the New 52 to So Bad Its Horrible, with most of the example being a note complaining about Superman & Lois Lane being split up and Superman and Wonder Woman receiving a Relationship Upgrade, before I deleted it.
Said user also on Violently Protective Girlfriend, deleted most of the text describing Wonder Woman as an example to Superman, so that the example now qualifies as a Zero Context Example.
Zapped.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Yeesh, this guy had some agenda.
From what I've seen on various comics-related sites, the New 52 genuinely doesn't seem like it's going to be fondly recalled, but calling the entire thing a Dork Age seems like misuse. And of course obviously this guy had too much of an axe to grind anyway.
Well, themisinvictus will need to talk to us in the Edit Banned topic.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Nice!
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."I don't know what to do with this example of Internet Backdraft in YMMV.Fire Emblem Fates, especially since it's concerning the controversial localization (which imo is extremely overblown).
- Mentioning any of the censorship in the international release online (and, in some circles, any localization changes period) is surefire way to drag you into a Flame War. Hell, mentioning any aspect of the game, period, is risky, with more and more being piled onto the Broken Base fire near-constantly.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? That first sentence is fine. The second sentence is just hyperbole that adds nothing.
How does this look?
- Internet Backdraft: Mentioning the censorship applied to the international release will likely result in a Flame War due to the controversy surrounding it.
Not sure if mentioning the localization is necessary.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I've seen just as much whining about the localization changes, so that part should stay.
How about now?
- Internet Backdraft: Mentioning the censorship applied to the international release or general changes made in the localization will likely result in a Flame War, as both are controversial.
Weird, my post is duping itself even as I edit only one.

test
signature with line breakApparently it's a fluke from the code changeover.
So, how is it now?
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?as mentioned on Ask The Tropers, Supposedly Rebellious Series is full of Complaining About Shows You Dont Like. First example on the page - a generic example complaiining about Yamato Nadeshiko in relation to Magical Girls. (Although I don't think the author realises it's what he's complaining about.)
EDIT:I see bad analytical reasoning here, too. The American Horror Movie wall of text generic example is Not an example. I think we need to be like Jason Voorhees and take a chainsaw to the page.
Feminist 'analysis' worse than what SRS would do of Dragonriders of Pern shouldn't be on the page either.

Keeper of The Celestial FlameThe problems with that page are inherent in the title. Supposedly Rebellious Series? It might as well be called, "Shows that FAILED at their tone!"
Although the words
raised some ire from me, the page itself does look like it exists solely for complaining.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.To be clear, I wasn't aiming that at all feminists - just the author of that particular Wall of Text screed. (shitredditsays and its associated subs would be fairer than that, usually.) I've done a wick check, and there isn't much. Nearly all of it is complaining, or ZCE's. I should have put Feminist in scare quotes, too.

While wick cleaning, I came across this in YMMV.Gone With The Wind:
- Ending Fatigue: If you are assigned this book for school, run. That is all.
Not only is it a ZCE, but it complains by practically saying "avoid at all costs" without mentioning why it fits. Right now, it's commented out, as there's no context.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportThat's the epitome of a bad example; we could use it as a citation for how not to write for the wiki.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Supposedly Rebellious Series now has a TRS thread.
Also, nuke the Gone With The Wind non-example of Ending Fatigue.

Yeah, nuke the hell out of that. I may need to call in the troper who added it to tell them why we don't behave that way.
