Using Unrelenting Force on a carefully laid out dinner table is really fun.
At times, when people go flying sky high after getting backstabbed... Though nothing beats the faceplant(Take Scattergun->Shoot at someone's legs->Watch the effects with maniacal glee).
grahBiotics are ridiculously fun. Firebase White is golden for this in ME3, with Nova and Charge, flipping Cerberus off (a cliff).
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.I've been replaying Prototype again recently, it's a lot of fun to throw shit around in that game. I particularly enjoy the Hadoken/Force Blast ability.
Is this about the Havok physics engine, or can I add in examples from games I doubt have that particular one? Games like Garry's Mod, for instance.
It's about any game. The title refers to Wreaking Havok
Instead, I have learned a horrible truth of existence...some stories have no meaning.Rocket Robot On Wheels. Grab something circular in your tractor beam, wedge it between a platform and yourself, and move around suspended in air!
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaOr breaking the OSHA warnings in Half Life 2 Lost Coast. You blow up a cannon by putting chairs and things in the way of the loading mechanism. Building go boom!
Or pitting Antlion Guardians against anything in a building in Garry's Mod. Fun fun glorious destruction!
Picking up a heavy vehicle or explosive item with the chopper wench, and using it like a wrecking ball in either of the Mercenaries games comes to mind. Too bad the fuel tanks didn't explode as good though.
I was watching my friend play Oblivion while procrastinating from levelling up my own character. He spent thirty minutes playing with a dead body.

Picking up a radio tower and impaling a giant gorilla, followed by throwing said gorilla into a giant skyscraper to send it falling down is always fun :3
Holy Grail, huh? Cool story, bro.Psi Ops The Mindgate Conspiracy knows what you want to do with those awesome psychic powers. The levels are littered with hazards to throw at people/people into... Electrified equipment, cremation ovens, wrecking balls, Radiation pools, bottomless pits, LOTS of exploding barrels, a particle accelerator, moving machinery, other Mooks...
Either spamming Pull/Throw in Mass Effect or opening up the Half Life 2 console and adjusting the crowbar's damage to absurd levels. 100,000 seems to be an effective number for launching Combine into the far wall.
-remembers throwing Gatatog Uvenk clear over the wall and out of the arena- Nope, deinitely the biotics.

Panhandling sign glued to hands. Need $5 for solvent. The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. Surfing down the street on a flattened bus, then flipping off it to rip a police car in half and jam the bits on your fists to use as huge nasty boxing gloves... good times. The city was typically half-flattened by the time I was done...
Garry's Mod. Full stop.
But, and I think someone else mentioned this, I'll never get tired of throwing cars at helicopters in Prototype.
Red Faction Gorilla. Building+ Sledge Hammer = TIMBER!
Too bad there aren't that many buildings in the game. On a similar note, I remember reading about a Saints Row 2 mod that implemented Geomod 2. That sounds like a lot of fun.
Using the Force to pick up an individual mook and hold him in the way of the Death Star's main weapon as it fires never gets old in The Force Unleashed.
inFamous naturally has quite a few opportunities for this. Lobbing a car at a group of mooks on top of a building and firing a rocket at it before it hits them, for example. Or lobbing said car at the other side of a flimsy balcony an enemy is standing on, causing it to explode with him on it. Or shepherding several enemies into the same place on the highest building you can find, and using one push to send them all over the edge - then throw sticky grenades at them in mid air.
My name is Addy. Please call me that instead of my username.Tribes: Ascend: Watching a guy get killed with an explosion and watching the corpse twitch mid-air is strangely amusing.
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit: Getting a Takedown as a Cop and watching the suspect go over a cliff made me go "HOLY SHIT."
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelCrysis: hiding in the bushes, letting a Korean jeep pass you, and then shooting the gascan on the back. Hollywood flame physics at its finest. -Bang, whoosh, BOOM!-
I haven't done this myself yet (I want to) but this is my favorite physics-video involving Skyrim.
Gmod: Building an air vehicle out of some wooden frames, planks, and balloons, setting people in them and letting them go before taking them down with the RPG.
Fus Ro Dah, ALL of The Force Unleashed, Blast in inFAMOUS.
Likes many underrated webcomicsOne of my favorite things to do in Demon's Souls/Dark Souls while waiting to get summoned was to see how far I could throw dead bodies by rolling on them.
I once got one up a tower, somehow. Another time, I got one stuck on my char in such a way that it looked like he was itching a ride on my back.

Who's an angry moth? You are! Yes you are! You're the fuzziest and angriest moth! Original pic.The engine in Titan Quest makes it possible to send Mooks flying around if you hit them hard enough with a club, or if you want to use magic, shock waves and fireballs can do it too, it's very entertaining to watch and one of my favorite things about the game.
@Psi Ops: Oh yeah, using telekinesis was really fun.

Messing around with the physics engine of a game is very much fun. With the explosions and the flying thingies and the dead people and all that good stuff. Discuss that, will you?
In case you're wondering, or you haven't seen it before, this is the trope the title references.
