Yo, man, we heard you like Turtles, so we teamed up classic Turtles with your regular Turtles.
All we need now are the 2012!Turtles meeting the 2003!Turtles and my life will be complete...
My life won't be complete until they bring in the 2003 Turtles AND the original comic Turtles!
Come to think of it, can they even get the cast of the 2003 series?
I remember reading that 4Kids couldn't bring in Rob, Barry, Cam, and Townsend to voice the 1987!Turtles in Turtles Forever because...voice actor laws or something, but can Nick bring the '03 cast to them?
Sam Riegel, Donny's actor, is doing some vocal work (and voice directing) for a Disney show, so he might be free to reprise his role as 2003!Donatello.
Michael Sinterniklaas, Wayne Grayson, and Greg Abbey seem to still do a lot of anime voice acting, so they might not be available for contractual reasons.
Well, technically, The Venture Bros. isn't an anime and Michael Sinterniklass is in that, so...
Well then, I guess that's two.
Also, I don't know where Greg Abbey came from, as I meant Greg Carey. Which is also weird given that I meant to refer to Frank Frankson, Raph's actor, not Hun's.
Although it'd be neat to see Greg Carey reprise his role as 2003!Hun, especially since I rather hate the 2012 Hun.
SAG union laws. From what I understand and remember from film school, union and non-union actors cannot work together on the same project without difficulty, except for some very specific instances like student works and micro-budget films.
The 4Kids cast were(are still?) non-union so the they generally couldn't work with the '87 Turtles or the Nick Turtles casts.
It especially wouldn't fly with Barry Gordon (Donatello), seeing as he was president of SAG 1988–1995.

I hope they aren't still non-union, they were good eggs acting wise.
Isn't 4Kids gone though?

Well for what it's worth, Cam Clarke and Michael Sinterniklaas both voice characters in the localization of Bravely Second so they have worked on the same project at some point.
This song needs more love.4Kids is gone, but in this case, they weren't the problem.
Union and non-union actors are still split. 4kids has nothing to do with this problem by now.
Today's episode was filled with references to past Turtles stuff.
Fugitoid may be able to get past the electric seaweed in 2:20, but can he diffuse all the dam bombs?
Lots of lovecraft references too.
Here's another preview for the cross over episode.
So the episode was basically a redo of Turtles Forever, but going off the complaints I've seen here some of you guys might like it more.
Pretty much, a bit more loving parody to the 87 show than Turtles Forever, especially how the turtles kicked shell...but didn't use their weapons. THAT is a loving dig right there, though I was kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinda hoping Mikey would make a joke like "Wow nunchuks! I used to have a pair of those but I stopped using them for...some...reason".
Either way a fun little cross over, but it DEFS should've been longer.
Breaking news: Tokka will be appearing soon and Raph gets a new pet turtle named Chompy.

Huh, an april's fool joke
Anyway, seems like latest episode continues tradition of "Horror movie reference episode!" I guess makers of this show really love those
At least "gremlins" in episode are about destroying "aircraft" xD

Anyway, I can't really stand Raphael and Mona Lisa episodes because I keep cringing up at awkwardness of uber fast forced romance and at him calling her that name since it still feels so bizarre to me
I mean he is essentially in uber serious moments still calling her by nickname she has no context for because he can't bother to try pronouncing her name right

What is Dregg exactly? He looks like a bug persons, and his limbs and head detach so I think they were going for a collection of random smaller bugs that make up a big bug thing, but then his head flies off and he's got a robot head underneath.
Everytime they call the Salamanders Mona Lisa and Sal Commander I think of this.

His head speaks independently of the neck robot thing, so maybe he is cyborg composed of multiple bugs?
Also, Yeah

This season they have a lot of brand new incidental background aliens. I expect at least one more major visit to an alien bar/nightclub/restaurant before the season is up so they more more use out of them. Between them, the Salamandarians, the Triceratons, not to mention Fugitoid and new looks for the Turtles, April and Casey, they're feeling the pinch for the character modeling budget.
Also I predict another appearance from the Utrom Council, because I doubt they got Kate Micucci and Elvira in to just record the lines for one episode.
