I was about to peg this as JAFAAC, but then I read the caption - which should really not be pulling all the weight.

Perhaps something like this could work? The accent's not very picturable, though.

Klinger isn't in disguise. He was bucking for a Section 8 (mentally unfit for service) discharge and did so by minimalistic crossdressing.

The current picture isn't very good, though.

Those look like two different characters in the manga. Chin, nose, eye structure are all different.

Well, given the nature of anime visual style, I'd let the nose slip as "different angle drawn" but the eyes won't make sense if you're not familiar with Tareme Eyes and its countertrope

Rather belated, but how about this picture from AKB49 – Renai Kinshi Jourei which features the main character before and after he cross-dresses?

How do ANY of these pictures show the vocal accent that the person takes on when they fit into that costume?

I vote not picturable unless someone is willing to show before and after collage photos of someone from a comic book or well-translated manga that clearly makes the use of a vocal accent with it.

.... or is there no need to show that someone disguises their voice when they put on a disguise?

Can we not have a crossdressing image? It's not a crossdressing trope (despite the title); that's Disguised in Drag. How about something that's obviously a prop, like a false mustache or something?

On that note, would it be okay to move the current image to Disguise Tropes?

Eeeeeh...it's pretty crap quality, I'd rather it go away entirely unless we just can't find anything else.

I agree that we should try to avoid crossdressing images for this one, as that's not primarily what the trope is about.

Hm, line on the bottom: Getty sells images. That is them or VH 1 claiming copyright I think.

If that particular image is a problem, there seem to be a jillion others from the same event.
