How's eddie going to drive? He has no hands to work the gear shifter...
Lampshade Hanging, thy name is Riggs.
Easing back into life one step at a timeI may have come up with an idea for a small diversion off to the side. It's too big to be just some background event, but too small to be an actual plotline.
Not sure of what happens to facilitate this, but after thinking hard about it, Shepard realizes something terrible - when she finally reached the Catalyst, she was temporarily indoctrinated, which explains why she picked between its choices so easily. And through means unknown, she gets the chance to pull a fix-it by talking to her past self before she makes a choice. Via telepathy, maybe.
Needless to say, it continues to fail, with human-Shepard being an absolute wreck who just wants to get it over with after five years, plus her mind being clouded by indoctrination, and pony-Shepard desperately trying to convince her past self that this isn't how you get the job done.
The idea is that as the characters watch, someone will try to shout through to help Shepard as she grows increasingly frantic (if everyone falls prey to the bystander effect, she directly asks her new friends for help), and it's up to the characters to give human-Shepard enough fight to get up, break free, and tell the Catalyst to eff off. Thus directly changing the past.
I know that it's just a fix-it for the ending, but IC I think that if Shepard somehow got the chance to think on what she'd done, she'd probably do it without a second thought if given the chance - which, in the magical world of Equestria, could definitely happen. And if none of you like it I'll shelve it and pretend it never happened. Plus, if the RP gets that far, it lets me bring in Garrus and Tali much later on. Finally, it'll personally change Shepard.
So now I submit what is admittedly a roundabout interactive Fix Fic for the ending as a short thing to do and ask: what do you all think?
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."I was going to save Cole Mc Grath's entrance for when they were all going on the train, so he could do his rail grind schtick. Is that going to happen in the forseeable future?
Admittedly, if I were to use a train as a metaphor, the RP seems to be missing its conductor.
Anyone else still on this crazy train?
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Present.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!Hi!
"Yup. That tasted purple."Winged Victory is still there.
Is here.
Easing back into life one step at a timeI C wut U did ther.
Time for the GM to have a pony with a gun burst through the door, I think.
If the GM were even here...
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."I do apologize for vanishing, real life has been what it will be and I'm going to be occupied for the foreseeable future. As it is, if nopony steps up this is dead. If it means anything though I was really hoping this would be a long runner.

♌Um... damn. Sorry to hear.
Anyone wanna take a shot at G Ming this, in any case?
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Would anyone else be interested in trying to get this going again? I'll GM if I have to, got a few ideas for it anyways.
Yes, indeed.
There's been a huge disconnect, though; if we got this restarted, would anyone (presumably) here object to a timeskip to the next day?
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Well, that depends if we want to continue this storyline.
What was the plan with Discord and his plotting? We never really found out.
I've got this idea that there is a little...well let's say legend that a cult of ponies follow that says the end of days will occur when this group shows up, the group seemingly being our current characters.
We get to fight off Ninja Pony Assasins (and mock the whole black getup they wear) and it turns out we're not the evil ones (Except Bad Company, due to their habit of collateral damage). Instead, a villian from each of our character's universes (or only a handful if we want) have also crossed over and are in pony form.
Well,I'm interested for this to be brought back from the dead,so i guess go for your plot idea.
B-Company does have a nasty habit of collateral damage. They ever tell you about the one time they went AWOL and invaded a neutral country for gold?
Anyways, as for villains... I'm not sure who I'd pick from the ME-verse. Possibly Kai Leng, who wants revenge on Shepard for killing him.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Alright, here is a rough draft of the legend:
When the chaos dragon has at last been unchained, they will arrive in Celestisa's fair lands.
One will bear a sound most harsh,
One will posses an infinite arsenal,
One will have led a crusade in darkness,
Four will follow, with destruction following in their wake,
All will bring destruction to Equestria, and ruin to everypony.
Figure who is who :P
My idea for this cult is that they 'try' to kill us off...but since Equestria is such a peaceful land they have NO practice in murder and are such epic screwups it's more funny than homicidal.
The four are B-Company (though they're more Anti-Hero than villain and as such I can have them get some Character Development in for a bit less collateral), and my guess for Kai Leng is that he lead the crusade in darkness.
But cut off the top one. If "a sound most harsh" is what I think it is, the group as it is, even with Touhou characters stands zero chance against a Reaper in ground combat, whose main weapon doesn't even need to touch you to kill you.
EDIT: Just got it again. The "crusade in darkness" is Eddie, "infinite arsenal" is Shepard, which means "a sound most harsh"...

"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Weeellll...not quite...
Good Guesses though.
One will bear a sound most harsh, Eddie Riggs, due to his heavy metal music
One will posses an infinite arsenal, Archer, due to Unlimited Blade Works
One will have led a crusade in darkness, Shepard, because she led the galaxy against the Reapers in the darkest moments of history
Four will follow, with destruction following in their wake, Clearly Bad Company
Remember, these are the inital, mistaken conclusions about the legend.
By the way,i think it would be better if we create the reboot interest check/sign up thread, since i really doubt the original rp players would ever come back to check the thread, though they will still keep their characters if they come back.
To quote Danny from CSI:New York
Eddie = Summon Deuce. Eddie now happy. (I think the car is probably more a Security Blanket than anything really, considering he can fly faster than it can drive, but eh.)
