World of Ham in a world of Dull Surprise. It livens up the room.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/Truthfully I'd rather a Dull Surprise in a World of Ham,so yeah I'll take me a Keanu Reeves over most of Jim Carrey these days (though he used to be alright). I find Large Ham to be best in small proportions if not overdone.
Besides a Dull Surprise makes for a great diffuser of all that Ham-to-Ham Combat.
Of course it's like comparing a sneeze to a common cold. But hey I took inspiration from the Beige Prose vs Purple Prose thread.
A World of Ham has much greater So Bad, It's Good potential. Of course, the D&D movie was the most So Bad, It's Good movie I've ever seen in my life, but Jeremy Irons was too hammy to count as one character, IMO.
Hail Martin Septim!I'd say both actually have the potential for unexpectedly awesome characters. The Dull Surprise character ends up being the Straight Man to everyone else, while the Large Ham...well, that one's obvious.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.
Which do you find to be worse? A situation like Bram Stokers Dracula where everyone is in a World of Ham except Keanu Reeves or a situation like the The Last Airbender where only Aasif Mandvi didn't seem bored?
