I...really don't know what to think about this one, especially since JAFAAC's no longer a "pull before replacing" criteria.
JAFAAC. No visual indication that this is a cutscene, and that's the key part.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.I have no idea what that pic is supposed to be. At all.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Yeah, I'd say that pic is pullable for the simple fact of being confusing as hell.
This is going to be REALLY hard to picture without JAFAAC, but for now, this might be better:
This is the iconic shot of the first zombie encountered within the Resident Evil franchise.◊ More people have probably played RE than Bayonetta, you can clearly see that it's a zombie, and zombies are undoubtedly the most recurring enemy in the entire Resident Evil franchise.
Alternatively, we can use this remastered picture of the same scene◊ from the 2003 Updated Re-release.
Still JAFAAC.
Ack, when Flash Player crashes it crashes hard. Anyway, here's one example from Skylanders Spyros Adventure: [1]

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Could benefit from having a few pixels trimmed from the bottom (the progress indicator is slightly visible there).
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Yeah, it needs a lot of trimming, I just wanted to get the full picture uploaded first so people could comment on it.
I could live with that last suggestion...it's certainly cleaner than the Bayonetta pic.
The problem is that this trope is about cutscenes, so it's difficult to have a still image to explain it... For a starter I took the first mooks that crossed my mind, Grace & Glory from Bayonetta (here's the scene). You see at their pose that it's not mid-gameplay after all. But the most known the game, the better, I suppose.
I like the idea of RE's first zombie personally. But since we can hardly get around one with a Boss Subtitle to be explicit enough, the Skylander one would be better.
Another option would be to make the caption more detailed.

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. What about the licker in Resident Evil 2? The graphical difference between the appearance cut scene and the actual gameplay should make it clear that these are different scenes.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.edited 2nd Feb '12 10:44:44 AM by Lyendith
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. And then pair it with an in-game screen, to make it clear that it's a cut scene.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Fast Eddie pulled the image:
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThis is easy to remedy. Just get a screenshot of actual combat with the mooks and combine it with the Intro picture.
Bump. Still no image.
Clocking.
Clock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus. No further action is to be taken based on this thread.
I see some... barely discernible beast things... floating in air. Having never played that game, I can't quite understand what is depicted, let alone how it illustrates this trope.
