I would say that Starting!Shirou would go out of his way to prevent as many deaths as possible (even preventing the 'bad guys' from dying if he could) but eventually would shift to just exterminating the root of the issue as quickly as possible to save as many lives as possible when he learns that he's just causing more pain and suffering by being merciful.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariI just read a story call!ed Promises of a wondering Hero and I'm torn, on the one hand the author seems to have some good ideas. On the other, some of the things he does just don't make sense TRACING DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY.

Fate Grand Order players will know me as Ryusei-Go.I have a question... If Deviant Art users can become Magus, do they have the ability to Trace?
{Rimshot}
You'd have to say the same thing about comic book artists.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariOr alternatively: Nick Simmons is a Heroic Servant with the ability to Trace Zanpakutos.
He's screwed if he ever goes against Servant Tite Kubo, though.
I recall both Disney and Stan Lee were Casters from a couple of snippets I read.
[DATA LOST]Isn't that sort of thing something that Shakespeare canonically does, though?

Yeah, for historical literary heroes such as him would make more sense than the two modern ones I mentioned earlier.
[DATA LOST]Given the fact there are two categories for FSN and Tsukihime on fanfiction.net, where to put a fic with characters from both I Ps?
Shlugo: Sakura is resentful enough of Rin in canon, and even just finding out that Rin also saw Shirou jumping the bar was a significant factor in that resentment coming out in HF. In this timeline, Sakura would probably still see Shirou jumping the bar, but Rin would have a relationship with him and she would not, which would cause massive resentment.
And, even if Sakura never saw Shirou jumping the bar (and, thus, never fell in love with him), the fact that she never had that hope would mean she would still just be an emotionless doll, and there would be no reason whatsoever for her not to fight in the Grail War.
Creative: I think that, prior to his death, even Archer didn't kill unless he really needed to. That's the whole reason why he was so broken by becoming a Counter Guardian, because the way that C Gs work is to kill everything just in case.

So.... I haven't mentioned it in a while, but I was considering a crossover of Fate Stay Night and Fate Prototype a while back with Ayaka in the place of Shirou. It hit a snag cause I wanted to use Bazett, and outside of her appearances in Prisma Ilya and Carnival Phantasm, I know nothing about her, and so was waiting for a translation of Hollow Ataraxia.
However, it hit another snag.
I'd originally planned on using Manaka, and comparing her to Ilya. How alike they were in some senses. However, I've just found out that, Manaka is much older than I thought she was. I assumed her physical age was around the same as Ilya (9 or 10) but she's actually 14 years old. As a big part of the interaction between them was looking to be the same age, Manaka being older physically puts a huge crimp in my plans.
I wasn't sure if I was ever going to actually write this story, but now that I know this, it might kill it completely.
Which is a shame too, as it was one of my first big ideas. I wrote up some notes and outlines a long time ago, and wanted to get back to it.
Or maybe it's really for the best. I wasn't really getting to the stuff I really wanted to do truthfully because I had too many ideas. Maybe cutting something is a good thing.

One Strip! One Strip!So... random thought.
What would happen if Minato was summoned as a Servant in the Holy Grail War?
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!It would be entirely up to the author because he has no real personality defined in the game.
Depending on the Persona loadout the author gives him, Minato could go from a low level servant to essentially invincible. Messiah would be horribly broken, and it's not all that difficult to get Victory Cry on Helel, so Helel and Satan would be really, really broken as a combo.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariWhat about if you only gave Messiah as his Reality Marble and restricted it to low-to-middle level Personae otherwise?
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!...Why and how would Messiah be a Reality Marble?
I think, at most, you might be able to fudge the details and have the Universe be a Reality Marble.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.I am speaking in hypotheticals.
Plus I am still not very far in F/SN, I don't know the exact mechanics of one.
Don't spoil.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!If you don't want to be spoiled don't ask questions hat require spoiler-heavy answers.
...good point.
I retract my request to not spoil then.

"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!Actually, the exact mechanics differ between one Reality Marble and another (no, really; you'll realize that quickly if you ever compare two of the few known Reality Marbles to each other), beyond one basic rule that isn't really spoilerific IMO: Whereas a Marble Phantasm (an ability that True Ancestors like Arcueid possess) only allows you to "find and pull the one black marble out of a jar that is otherwise filled with white marbles" for any given situation (i.e. tweak a non-zero probability to 100%), a Reality Marble simply "turns all of the white marbles black" (i.e. turn 0% to 100%, or make the impossible possible)... but can only do the thing that said "black" says it can do. In other words, a Marble Phantasm is very versatile but cannot do things that go against the Nasuverse's laws of reality (like create matter out of nothing), while a Reality Marble is can only do a specific thing (or set of things), at the upside that said thing(s) can be anything, laws of reality be damned.
Yeah, Reality Marbles are crazy powerful. Of course, there is a downside to that: The World gets pissed at such violations of reality. As in, it will immediately try to crush your silly Reality Marble, and your very existence if necessary. That, incidentally, is why Reality Marbles require a lot of Prana to fuel them: You're basically buying time to keep your Reality Marble running.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus....you know, I actually agree with you. That is not really a spoiler.
So, in this scenario, Messiah can't be a Reality Marble because Minato having him around is considered something "possible" according to the Nasuverse "rules"?:

Hey guys, question. I'm currently writing a chapter of Fate/EMIYA, and I've got to know your opinion. How often do you think Shirou actually killed people? When they were a direct threat to his life? The lives of innocents? If they were planning on hurting innocents? How far would he go to spare them?
