To be fair to Tokimi, while he can't judge man's moral integrity for shit, he at least is good at noticing potential. I mean Rin has potential of becoming one of top 100 in Association history and inheriting the Second.
That might be arrogance on Tokiomi's part, believing that nothing less than awesome can come out of his loins...

That's not exclusive to Magus' truthfully.
There were likely a lot of factors to how things worked out in regards to giving Sakura away.

One Strip! One Strip! Most important of all factors, however, remains Tokiomi's rampant stupidity.

The only person in Fate Zero who isn't dumb is Kirei if you ask me.
Some might point out Kiritsugu as well, until you remember his needless antagonism to Saber. Whatever flaws she had (and Zero was all about beating her down), what reason was there for him to refuse to even talk to her beyond pointless conflict?

One Strip! One Strip! Now, now Zero Rin isn't dumb either. She's the only one who can see Kirei for what he is, and she, um, saves other kids in the anime? It's kinda sad the only two really competent cast members are the sociopathic evil priest and the spitfire Loli, though.

That's old school Urobuchi for you.
And Kerry, despite my criticism of him, also recognized that Kirei was dangerous.
One Strip! One Strip! To be fair, Tokiomi also has kind of a creepy face.

No, Eva, for the last time, I won't give you head.
I disapprove of the perverted turn of your conversation.
Clancy Brown would be ashamed.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimari@Marq I don't think Zouken did anything about her face. She was born with it.
Poor Sakura, she had misfortune of a too trusting father with weird ideas about parenting and superbly talented sister. Just bad luck.
Someone should give her a lance.

Yes, but because of the not-normal art, rather than because of the character/her expression in and of itself.
Remember that STNSBS snippet I did, where Zero Kirei summoned Master Asia and lolstomped the entire War? Lately, I've found myself with the temptation to make a full-on fic about it.
Honestly, the only thing I find creepy about child!Sakura◊ in Fate Zero is that she has Dull Eyes of Unhappiness and a distinct lack of emotion in expression and voice (obviously caused by her horrific "training").

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Had a Fate crossover idea. None of the 5th War Servants are replaced (though some of the Masters are, as are Masters-Servant pairs possibly being switched around), and much to the surprise of many, it does not in any way involve Humongous Mecha.
Because Shirou was saved by someone else instead of Kiritsugu, he is not a magus. Instead, he is a practitioner of Hokuto Shinken, but still gets caught up in the Holy Grail War anyway, and - due to not being a magus - is even more out of his depth.
The fic would have elements from all three routes, but probably be closer to Heaven's Feel than to Fate or UBW.
Still figuring on how to make it work in terms of establishing a continuity, though.
Also, to anyone who thinks Shirou would have it easy because of Hokuto Shinken, don't, because Kirei is a practitioner of Nanto Seiken.
Kuzuki: :|
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimari:| indeed.
Yeah, that's pretty much the kind of reaction I was expecting. <nods>
Didn't really think you guys would be in the market for that sort of a fic, but figured I'd at least give it a shot.
Even had the ending all figured out, with Kirei getting an end similar to Thouzer's.

I'm okay with martial-arted Shirou, as long as he doesn't try to "You're already dead" too much.
Rather than smart, I'd prefer to be wise. It would let me be silly more often. Not really sure of what you mean. As far as saying You Are Already Dead, I can think of exactly one planned instance where he uses that line in the same context as Kenshiro.
Then again, I'm still not sure if I want the one who saved Shirou to be Kenshiro or Toki, either...
There's a large chance one of you is around Beast's Lair more than I am, so I'm wondering... is there anything spoken about the possibilities of a fan translation for CCC? With nothing announced so far, it looks pretty unlikely, so...
gwonbush, if you're there, you're usually my main source for these things so...
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariTheoretically possible, but probably never going to happen. Maybe somebody will translate bits and pieces, but don't hold your breath for a full translation.
