I like the student council guys. Such noble men...
The girls, on the other hand, are just plain mean. Which is why Literature Girl is my favorite; she's only been teasing so far and she gets teased back.
The gags were okay, but nothing really made me laugh. Mostly because I could guess the punchline for almost every one (especially that Rubber Shooter guy — did they seriously think no one's gonna think that's Yoshitaka?).
Skits that made me smile the most: Lit Girl, Student Council, Dubbing and of course the last one because at least the girls get shamed for being mean.
Yeah, I appreciate the SC guys' civility.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.
I think it's because she was the CAUSE of Karasawa's scar, judging by how uncomfortable she looked. She couldn't even look him in the face.
Editing issues: assuming my interpretation of "Shaggy Dog" Story is correct, this series may need its own subpage for that trope before it ends. I listed a total of 11 examples up to the end of Ep 5, and I'm not confident if I have missed any more.
(Of course, there's also the admin issue of opening a trope subpage for a single work...)
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaLiterature Girl is quite obviously the best girl in the show.

I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.Yes.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot. She's good, but I like IMOUTO!!! and Ringo better, though Ringo is basically good as a combination with the male student council.
Read all of my fanfics!Literature Girl... it's completely fine for her to have a crush on Hidenori, but she's more having a crush over the boy in her novel, who is "an introverted solitary otaku" who can control wind. Now this is unconventional.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaNew episidoe out. there are some my thoughts
1)I starting like school council more than protagonists.
2)It looks as it could bring some slightly more serious elements in future (maybe just my impression)
3)Did just Megane funky girl make reference to Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei?

The student council guys are great.
Yeah, the Archdemon subplot is a bit dark. Hopefully they'll do the full flashback next episode. There are a couple translated chapters on the net courtesy of /a/. You can find them if you want to see the full thing.
Read all of my fanfics!I'm excited. The soccer skit was definitely my favorite.
Is Hidenori really "no good in sports" though? Not to say his goalkeeping, but his running away from Yoshitake's older sister is also not an indication of a Non-Action Guy...
Speaking of Hidenori, let us turn to his Distaff Counterpart Yanagin for a minute. Anyone thinks she's also a Hollywood Nerd? Her speech is a bit full of economics and microbiology...
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaI want to see more of Archdemon in the coming episodes.
I nominate Habara, the Archdemon as an Ensemble Darkhorse, judging by the reactions on /a/.
And discussions on her characterization on Animesuki.
Seriously, the "completely unremarkable" bit on the Character page should be tagged with Blatant Lies.
It is at best a subversion of The Generic Guy, and even I doubt that. Her off-screen Character Development means that to a person who did not know about her past to start with, she came up as generic and would probably stays that way.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaI like how the 3 girls are horrible people in some form or another
What exactly is that Archdemon arc? Manga I found were only 3 chapters from first volume and 1 from third one. Is there somewhere more or I missed something?
Volume cover relevant to the discussion: [1]◊
The manga just expands a little on what was implied in this episode, particularly just WHO was part of the group that eventually took the Archdemon down. Yanagin was part of it, and she's still watching over Habara to make sure she doesn't revert. Also how Karasawa is apparently inwardly scared senseless of her.
The RA Ws for the compilations are up for download if you know where to find them, but so far only three or four chapters have been translated.

"Demons" with red hair? Where have I seen this before?
El. Psy. Congroo. And thus the True Noir took her leave.Come on, half of anime demons have red hairs...
And apparently...Remember that it took several of the boys in various grades to take down the Archdemon. And they were all "casualties" as well just to take down the Archdemon. The only survivor was...the masked Rubber Shooter.

I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.Holy crap Yoshitaka must be hella strong then.
Can you tell me which manga chapters comprise the Archdemon arc? I wanna read it.

I wouldn't really say that he's strong, but more of the fact that he has a ranged attack.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.Sage's translation was wrong; the original meant "various schools," i.e. From the First Elementary to the Fourth Elementary. The translators are clearly not from New York City.

Yes.
Also, the "sister's friends teasing you"... Yeah, never have that happen to me at all.
