Hibiki and Miku's relationship is much more at the forefront of the second season In a really big way.
Not gonna say how, though.

Watch SymphogearAlso the rehashing he's worried about is gonna end any episode now from where he appears to be at.
Symphogear game is titled Symphogear XD Unlimited.◊
Fight for something, even if its meaningless.I bet Season 4 is going to be Symphogear Unlimited Infinity Deluxe. Or something as ridiculous as that.

PV for XD also featuring Nana Mizuki
Looks like they're going with Super Heroine Chronicle type graphics for the battles. It's apparently a "Symphonic Battle RPG.
If this is one of those gachaslot games then I'm gonna be seriously tempted to play a gachaslot game.

Fight for something, even if its meaningless. From the looks of things Kirika and Shirabe both had their G designs in the gameplay even though all the artwork and stuff (apart from Miku, Kanade and Serena) was from GX. Hm.
EDIT: It's a mobile game from the same publisher as Love Live! School idol festival.

"Yup. That tasted purple."Short trailer for Season 4, AXZ. It doesn't reveal much but still more Symphogear.
The subtitle this time is By shedding many tears, the reality you face is...
I'm gonna miss DETERMINATION TO FIST
Fight for something, even if its meaningless.Nice teaser. Looks even better animated then the previous 3 seasons, nod each season gets better animation wise with each one.
That 3 year gap did good.
Watch SymphogearThe guy who translates all the supplemental stuff, and did the slow-but-good subs for GX, has given us some more info via translation.
It seems that the subtitle is actually a direct quote (alternate English translation though) of a line from Glorious Break. So the full line, including the part after the ellipsis, would be "By shedding many tears the reality you face is an eternally cruel conclusion".
That makes this subtitle sound really freaking ominous.
Also it looks like we can completely literally say "Illuminati Confirmed" when it comes to our antagonists! http://symphogear.blogspot.com/2017/03/season-4-trailer-and-website-opens.html?m=1
Considering the series has made a few Take That! at american politics, I wonder if Donald Trump will a goldmine for the writers. XD!
Watch SymphogearGiven the fact that so many manga has Donald Trump (or someone looks like him) on it recently, the chance of it happening is pretty high.

Isn't Symphogear set an ambiguous amount of time 20 Minutes into the Future though?
"Yup. That tasted purple."Doesn't mean they can't make a Cariaculture, at least.
Man, this series just seems to sell better with every season. Wonder it it'll up to 15,000 a volume on average from Last season's 10,000.
Watch SymphogearUnless the season is bad, it will probably sell more than previous seasons.
It's the kind of series that's really good at hanging onto fans and at spreading through word of mouth.
I'm curious to see if Crunchyroll picks it up again. Due to their abysmal pricing model for anime in the USA, normally I'd be really upset if Amazon grabbed something I wanted to watch, but for this I'd have very mixed feelings.
Largely because, if Amazon picked this up, they'd undoubtedly also make all the music easy to get ahold of in the west.
amazon is far worse right now, with Strike being made to be paid on top of amazon prime.
Crunchyroll will likely get it again, as Symphogear did rather well during simulcasting for Season 3.
Watch SymphogearLike I said, Amazon's pricing scheme is abysmal. I was just pointing out that there would (probably) at least be one piece of good that came out of it.
Also, its not like CR's subs were actually any good for GX, especially since it was also the first time that we got fansubs that were actually good.
I would rather support a company that brings a series over officially then use fansubs unless the series never gets licensed outside of america (And any on amazon strike because of their poor payment system is too much for my wallet right now.)
Watch SymphogearI much prefer doing that too, but sometimes I have to make exceptions.
Not subbing all the songs in a show like Symphogear, in which the song lyrics are actually relevant and say a lot about the characters, and doing a shitty job at the ones that were subbed, is something that triggers one of those exceptions.
I honestly think that's nitpicking, really.
Thats just me however, and not using crunchyroll's subs for that reason is kinda petty.
Watch SymphogearI will use Crunchyroll subs because I want to support more anime being officially subbed, and not having to wait for fansubs to complete is nice.
I will also use fansubs when I want to watch bits that include songs Crunchyroll doesn't sub, because dammit most of my favorite songs fall into that category.
It's not like they're exclusive options, after all.
Exactly.
The thing about the high quality fansubs is that they come out really, really slowly (even 2-3 weeks delayed at times). I'd watch on CR, but then later rewatch using the fansubs.
Symphogear XD's opening animation shown off for the IOS/ Android game:
Over 180,000 players pre registered for the game as of April 24th.
Watch SymphogearOk, I'll admit, that's an awesome OP.
Brought a smile to my face when I saw Hibiki and Miku fighting side by side.
Was surprised that pretty much every single named character showed up in it though. And please, PLEASE, let that one moment imply that Genjuro is playable!
Like seeing more of the Auto Scorers. They were great.
Oh hey, I forgot about this thread. I did end up watching a few more episodes. Evil!Symphogear chick is Nanohaing (or rather, Fateing) so goddamn hard it's ridiculous. Except that her mother figure was also naked while beating the shit out of her for some reason. Uh, okay. Wildly varying tone continues to be an issue. Annoying up-do science lady is magic, and also evil or something? Not sure about that one, but there's definitely something going on with her. Which is a pity, because she annoys the hell out of me and I'd much rather see her fade into the background than become more prominent. Durandal OP plz nerf. (As an aside, I've seen more Durandal references in Japanese media than I ever have in Western media. Weird, given that it's a French legend.) The interactions between Hibiki and Miku continue to be the most interesting relationship in the show, but I hope it goes somewhere soon instead of rehashing the same territory over and over. (Hibiki is doing symphogear stuff. Miku worries about her. Hibiki is feels bad for keeping Miku in the dark, but can't tell her about symphogear stuff. Repeat.) Kanade was apparently a stone-cold badass and had actually mellowed out by the time we see her in the first episode. She's dead and I still find her more interesting than "I am a sword" Tsubasa.
Been pretty busy recently, so haven't managed to catch more than just those couple episodes.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.
