'That Pun Was Lame' Reaction (+2 (yeas:6 nays:4) 1.50 : 1) was the only other option with a postive final tally.

I've shifted the page and subpages, changed the indexes over (mostly—see below), and redirected Incredibly Lame Pun to Pun.

The discussion page should be moved from Incredibly Lame Pun to Lame Pun Reaction.

I wasn't sure what to do with the Incredibly Lame Pun wicks on two indexes: Pothole Magnet (I'm leaning keep, as it is still a pothole magnet, even if it is now a redirect) and Tropes of Legend (no clue what we should do). Discussion would be good.

So, "all" we have left to do is go through the wicks to Incredibly Lame Pun and its two former redirects and switch any references to the actual in-universe trope to Lame Pun Reaction. I don't have time to get started on it now, but others could get going. Post your progress in this thread; I'll keep track of it in the first post.

Does it make sense to ignore all the wicks that are likely to be potholes (i.e subpages, tropes not about puns)? I don't feel we have a chance of getting this done without making things easier.

Move all the Incredibly Lame Pun wicks that should be under Lame Pun Reaction there, leaving the sinkholes alone.

So we are keeping sinkholes? That seems counterintuitive.

That was my proposition in the previous crowner, a) in order to make the job easier (it's a lot of wicks) and b) because the ILP page was created for the sinkholes in the first place and it seemed counterintuitive to change this.

I can do some this weekend, but at 8000+ wicks, I don't think this is ever going to get done without at least a dozen or so volunteers. This seems more like longterm project stuff to me.

Being a finite cleanup project, it looks like Short Term.

I might be able to help, but I am currently busy with a worldbuilding project of mine.

Catbert, also note that any in-universe puns should be changed directly to Pun (Incredibly Lame Pun is only for troper puns)—although I will admit that if it's in a quote and the pun is obvious, I generally just delete the pothole—and that anything which would fit better on one of the subtropes (examples of Punny Name and Pun-Based Title are the two most common to run across) should be changed to the subtrope.

And I would love to just delete the troper pun potholes, but unfortunately, that lost the ILP crowner, so it's not an option.

I've done A through Series.Bottom. You might want to start at Z and work backwards, as I have a tendency to work in ten wick batches, spread out randomly through time (a result of me using it as a break from schoolwork).

I'm usually fairly good about updating the thread about what I've finished.

EDIT: Oh, I skip pages in WMG/ and Headscratchers/, as they're 99.9% guaranteed to be troper pun potholes.
