A thread for seeking and recommending cartoons.
Future Worm topic, its new, and the Potato episode was like a kid friendly Rick and Morty ep! HECK-it even had Justin Roiland at his Justin-Roilandiest.
What would you guys called an animated B-Movie? Something so bad that it's hilarious, as if it's bad on purpose?
Detentionaire, is a canadian cartoon that has an interesting mystery with some action. Please watch
Indie game designer/programmer and screenwriter. I like taking pictures and making picturesSpeaking of Canadian cartoons, I totally recommend Atomic Puppet. It has great action scenes, fun characters (Joey and AP make a really great duo), and a really nice artstyle (animated by Mercury Filmworks who also did Star vs the Forces of Evil and Wander Over Yonder). It seriously Needs More Love.
Check out the intro here (uploaded by the show's production team, so probably won't get taken down in the future). It's pretty awesome.
Edit: Damn this embedding system,

"Detecting trace amounts of mental activity. Possibly a dead weasel or a cartoon viewer"Seconding Atomic Puppet, also adding Fangbone! as well for good Canadian fare ro give a fair shake if you haven't, already.
New Web Browser, same old Shokew.I've been jonesing for a good series that features German Expressionism recently. Something along the lines of Aeon Flux, Reign or The Nightmare Before Christmas. I've been relegated to checking the Amazon "People also purchased" lists but haven't found much of anything.
Where have you found German Expressionism in animation?
give me a list of good recent action shows that aren't star vs the forces of evil, steven universe or voltron (since i'm halfway done with that)
MIAJust finished Archer, looking for something else to watch on Netflix.
Direct all enquiries to Jamie B GoodDreamworks Dragons.
(Unpopular opinion or not...) I don't know why people (especially on 4chan/8chan!) diss on this show so much: Penn Zero Part Time Hero definitely deserves more love / respect, especially for Season 2, IMHO.
More importantly, I can definitely say check out OKKO Lets Be Heroes and Welcome To The Wayne for some good action comedy if you haven't already.

New Web Browser, same old Shokew.I cannot recommend Harvey Beaks enough. It is such an awesome show. Likable characters (Harvey is the best kid I've ever seen in any cartoon), amazing animation, charming stories of childhood and friendship, and tons of creativity. It seriously Needs More Love. C.H. Greenblatt and the production crew really outdid themselves with Harvey Beaks. Too bad its getting Screwed by the Network.
And speaking of screwed-over Nicktoons, El Tigre is another recommendation I have. It sorta reminded me of Atomic Puppet in that it's a comedic parody of superheroes with great animation, fun characters, and entertaining stories.

It's not a series but I'm very fond of Dark Fury. That was made by the same guy who did Aeon Flux.
Can you think of any adult animation that are notable aversions of All Adult Animation Is South Park?
bojack horseman?
MIAMmmh...Ghost in the Shell has violence and Mind Screw, but otherwise is pretty far removed from the Trope. Cowboy Bebop as well.
Golden Age Simpsons, Futurama, Bob's Burgers, and King of the Hill.
I am legit amazed these were not everyone's first thoughts of aversions to the trope.

"Detecting trace amounts of mental activity. Possibly a dead weasel or a cartoon viewer"Add The Critic, Dan Vs., and maybe Ugly Americans / Tarantula to that list and you might be onto something.
New Web Browser, same old Shokew.Doh! How did I forget The Critic? Jay Sherman was in one of my favorite Simpsons episodes (regardless of whether it was shilling The Critic or not, "A Star is Burns" is still full of hilarious moments)! No matter, because you've also just reminded me to add God, the Devil and Bob and The Oblongs to the list (I've never seen either but I've heard a great deal of good about them!).

Okay then:
- Stat Wars Rebel
- Transformers Robots in Disguise
- Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters
- Trollhunters
- Castlevania
- Fangbone!
And thats all the ones I can think off hand. Though I am debating if shows from the CW Seed Vixen and The Ray should count as animated action shows since they are technically an extension from the Arrowverse.

Has there's Any Cartoons that Plays Music Well-loved by older audience and are not classical/kiddie themed.(Such as 80s-style music, Pop Music, Rock Music, Electronic Music etc.)
Hello.... Just wanna ask about something. Has anyone here ever discuss Mysticons yet?
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."A little, but we very quickly lost interest.
Some underrated masterpieces I'd recommend: Transformers: Animated, Get Ed, Spiderman The New Animated Series, TRON: Uprising.
Some classic masterpieces to rewatch: The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Ben 10: Alien Force (seasons 1 and 2 only), W.I.T.C.H., Avatar: The Last Airbender, Gargoyles (seasons 1 and 2 only).

×6 The only one I can think of to add to that list is Mission Hill.
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883!
While it hasn't been aired in a long time and can be difficult to find (it is mentioned as an example Keep Circulating The Tapes) I recommend Pelswick. It is about a paraplegic teenager in a wheelchair dealing with normal teenage stuff. I like it because not every episode revolves around Pelswick's disability and many are about just normal teen issues with little or no mention of his disability. He also has character beyond his disability. Episodes can be found on You Tube and Amazon Prime. My personal favorite is the Brain Suckers episode, a parody of the Pokemon craze.
