Post about how happy you are and the good things going in your life.
Sonic Generations, my first self-christmas gift(the other being Mario Kart 7) arrived today, along with Rayman Origins, which I can't play until the big "X". My Lady Gaga concert Blu-Ray movie(Over two hours long with an amazing set list) is on its way, and next week my complete Harry Potter Years 1-7(8 pc) Blu Ray set will ship.
And finally, I'm getting back into writing. Inspiration has struck and I'm working on my book, my play, my screenplay, and I've written three more songs. Not only that, but I'm back to painting and drawing. I've realized that the reason I can't create art I'm happy with is because I'm an abstract artist. When I experiment and strive to create what I feel, I'm finally happy with my work.

[forum cryptid: it/it's]Is happy because THIS CHARA NOW BELONGS TO ME I don't know how I managed to get such a popular thing for free...
ppppppppfeiufiofuiorjfadkfbnjkdflaosigjbkghuiafjkldjnbaghkdI don't understand character adoptions. I guess it's kind of like how I find building models kind of fun, but I don't want to clutter the place with models, so if I were to build a model, I'd probably sell it?

Let a whole bunch of steam off to my therapist, deposited some checks in the bank and bought a celebratory milkshake. It's been a good morning so far.
Looking for some stories?I love listening to my daughter 'talking', I just wish I knew what she was trying to convey.
'Hissssah. Tsah ipits huff hitsssah. Blib.'
I think I've managed to translate some of it...
Hih-daah = 'This is fun'
H'tsaat = 'That is a new and interesting thing'/'what's that?'
A'dats = dog/animal/non-human
zoo-zoo = my parents' dog, Zuul
hisssih = my sister's bearded dragon, Yoshi
Dada = daddy
daa-da = bigger daddy/grandad
Eh = milk
huss = juice
Ebb = I like this/ this is tasty
Nyam nyam nyam = this is very tasty/ that looks very tasty

'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'Just found out my University place for September has been confirmed.◊ ^.^
"Yup. That tasted purple."Your parents named their dog Zuul? That is badass. And that all is adorable.
Kickass! What sort of stuff do you learn in that field?
[forum cryptid: it/it's]Yeah, she's a Rottweiler. It seemed apt.
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'Studying crime and why people commit crime is probably the simplest definition I can come up with.
"Yup. That tasted purple."That sounds really interesting, actually. Congrats!
[forum cryptid: it/it's]Huge congratulations, mate!
Quod gratis asseritur, gratis negatur.“Now is the dramatic moment of fate, Watson, when you hear a step upon the stair which is walking into your life, and you know not whether for good or ill.” :P Great job and congratulations, DBL, and wish you the utmost luck for all the days to come!
Echoing hymn of my fellow passerine | Art blog (under construction)Congrats, DBL!
Whee! I'm finally writing a fanfic for the first time in forever! It's just a crappy song fic, but who cares? I'M BACK, BABY!
I don’t even know anymore.Congrats, DBL.
As for me, I'm finally going to get an internship. It's a curricular internship (therefore, unpaid), but I have to start somewhere.
Thanks.

So today I helped a heroin addict and got his number having helped him this morning, then paid for him to have a shave and haircut which he said he sorely needed but couldn't afford, and have now bought for him a meal for the day which will likely be the best he'll have had for a while.
Then while shopping I helped an older lady at the supermarket and helped her save quite some money.
Then this afternoon, I helped a young man by getting him a cheap internet connection which he sorely needed to help him get a job.
And just now, I bought somebody a cheap mobile phone so she can speak to her mother whom she'd lost contact with.
And tomorrow, I'll help those people people some more, because I said I would.
"Did you expect somebody else?"Maybe this little story will make someone feel happy. I am still going through it, and waiting to see it to the end rather than sing victory now.
Either way, my grandfather found a dead pigeon, or dove, whatever, lying in the yard one of these days, probably some mean-spirited crows that have been hanging around as of late. Yesterday morning, a pigeon, not too large, but large enough that makes you wonder how can he not be flying, seemed to be stuck on the floor since the early morning. There was another larger pigeon overlooking him, as if to protect it.
I took him in, put him on a shoebox, went to the nearest animal related place, they refused to take him in, and he spent the night inside the shoebox, inside a kennel, inside the house, with food and water. Though he did not eat anything, that kept him safe from cats and other animals.
The next morning, I set him out so he could spend the morning and afternoon stretching its wings and trying to feel better...the pigeon that had accompanied him when I first saw him was back and cuddling it. He or she waited, or lives nearby and swooped in to be with the little thing that still cannot fly.
I'll see to it that he gets well, though I probably will have to end up relying on time to do that.
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesI had a similar situation, although the bird only had to be kept inside the house for a night. The bird then flew when I opened the window in the next morning.
So, good luck and may the bird get back to flying.
