From the Japanese title to the English one, I persume? What if the English title has little to nothing to do with what the Japanese title meant in the first place? Because that sometimes happens even when a direct translation of the Japanese title is perfectly understandable and not awkward-sounding.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Irrelevant. The official English title always takes precedence.
Okay, two more questions:
- The Other Wiki lists the franchise's English name as Little Battlers Experience. However, the first game to be localised (the remake Danball Senki Baku Boost), and the anime, are both localised as LBX: Little Battlers eXperience. Additional works in the series append additional words to the base Danball Senki title; if other entries are localised, it's reasonable to expect them to do the same. My Anime List and GameFAQs appear to consider LBX: Little Battlers eXperience to be the franchise's English name. Would it be better to consider LBX: Little Battlers eXperience, or simply Little Battlers eXperience, as the name? I believe the site's policy would be to use the former, but I'm not 100% sure.
- Would it be better to update the related pages, and then rename the page, or do it the other way around?
I'm trying to come up with alternative names for And I Must Scream that aren't a verbal phrase to use as redirects. What do you guys think of Eternal And Inescapable Torment?
You can give a custom title to Little Battlers Experience so that reads as Little Battlers eXperience; just click "More" at the wiki article bar (right below the site's main bar at the very top), and go to "Wiki Word".

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.New question: Does Stinging Insects Are Vicious sound like a good redirect for Bee Afraid?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I wanted to make "No Real Life" a redirect to No Real Life Examples, Please! since I'm cleaning up tropes that violate it and it would speed things up.
I don't really see how it would speed things up. If you type the same edit reason twice on the same computer, you can select that edit reason the next time (start typing and it's a drop down menu). Or you could just type "NRLEP-breaking example."
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyI suggest "Camper And Sillier" as a redirect to Denser and Wackier.
That was the name of a discarded draft, but "camper" is not "campier" (one is a noun and the other is an adjective).
Searching for "campier and sillier tvtropes" you do not get Denser and Wackier, so Campier And Sillier could add value.
I did check "dumber and sillier tvtropes" and that comes up with Denser and Wackier, so "campier" would probably be the better word.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyCan we please add Blowing Your Top and Blowing Your Stack to redirect to High-Pressure Emotion? Both those phrases are common parlance verbal shorthand in English for what the trope describes, and will make searching for the trope simplified.
You want this thread for actual "please make this Wiki Word a redirect for this Wiki Word" requests. This thread for, IINM, help in figuring out what would make a decent redirect.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. Can I make Ellis Island Name a redirect for Naturalized Name? This is a pretty common term for the trope in the US.

"It's just a show; I should really just relax"See my previous post .
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I will soon be launching Sleep Paralysis Creature in the TLP, and I was thinking about making redirects with Night Hag, an official term used to refer to some of these creatures, and Sleep Paralysis Demon, that is often used in more casual conversations and the such. What do you think?
oh hey how are you doing?I want to start making redirects for some Manhwa that have one official translated title but also had some other unofficial translated titles from the fan translated scans. How do I make a redirect?
Hello! Making a redirect is actually quite simple. Everything you need to do is making the page for the alternate name you want to create, either with a red link or by writing it in the url at the top of the screen, and open the edit botton. Then, write [[redirect:Namespace/NameOfTheOriginalPage]] and save it. Your original page will appear, with an a.k.a. saying the name of the redirect you chose. For a more detailed guideline and tips, see Creating New Redirects.
The thing is that, since Main/ spaces can only be created via trope launch pad, redirects for tropes and the such have to be done by a moderator, but since you want to redirect a work, you can do it as you wish.

oh hey how are you doing?Considering that it is Memetic Mutation for a story Only in Florida's headline to be phrased as such: "Florida Man does (insert weird thing here)", I'd like to make "Florida Man" a redirect for said Only in Florida trope. Is it allowed even with zero wicks?
There's so much I wish I could take back.Apologies if this is the wrong thread for it, but I was looking over the subpages for Xenoblade Chronicles (the franchise), and Xenoblade Chronicles 1 (the game by that name). While the appended 1 is not part of its official title, as you can see the latter always redirects to display "Xenoblade Chronicles" without the number, resulting in it being impossible to tell which link is being potholed unless you look at the URL, which does display the 1, and which is often very confusing when I'm editing the subpages unless I remember to check.
Should we modify the redirect titles for the game to include the 1 even if it's not part of its official name, or should we redirect it to Xenoblade Chronicles (2010) to indicate that it's about the game and not the series?

Would Armoured Closet Bi and Armored Closet Bi work as redirects for Armoured Closet Gay?
There are a few bi examples.

Art Museum Curator and frequent helper of the Web Original deprecation projectRe: "Is it allowed with zero wicks?" (#68), I'm afraid that not just this thread but the whole purpose behind it seem to have been abandoned by this wiki. Many redirects for tropes have been deleted over the years, for no better reason than that they were unused or barely used. I may be wrong about this, but most of my efforts toward creating conveniently named redirects seem to have been wasted.
The correct procedure is to move the page.
