Aww, did I hurt your widdle fee-fees?I approve of turning it into a general Goth discussion thread.
I mostly like The Drowning Season, Fields of the Nephilim, Nick Cave's various projects and Tiamat, if they count.
Also, do The Cramps count as Goth?
^ The Cramps are psychobilly, which is basically rockabilly and punk sharing their mutual love of B-movie horror. They're still pretty popular with the same crowd, though, so I guess we can include them.
Aww, did I hurt your widdle fee-fees?what about Jack Off Jill...I like JOJ
Untitled Power Rangers StorySounds more like hard rock in goth clothing to me, judging from songs like My Cat, with a touch of novelty thrown in for good measure.
EDIT: Not that that'd be a bad thing.

^ Speaking of hard rock in black clothing, Jack Off Jill were close with Marilyn Manson during their pre-fame days gigging in Florida. That JOJ is still as obscure as they are is quite peeving, though the time when Mr. Warner could've given them some decent rep is long gone.

Aww, did I hurt your widdle fee-fees?Symphonic Metal often has goth elements...I like the former generally. Night Wish and Within Temptation are my favourites, and I'm something of a maverick in liking both singers of the former as well as both hands. Definite Broken Base between them, liking all three is unfortunately uncommon. As is even having heard of either band in the UK.
My name is Addy. Please call me that instead of my username.I really like Zombie Ghost Train, Zombie Girl, Angelspit, And One, Combichrist, Suicide Commando, Creature Feature, and :wumpscut:.

Hmmm... if we're adding industrial, Einsturzende Neubauten. (oh god, I just realized I haven't made a post without mentioning them T_T) Nick Cave, too, and The Sisters Of Mercy.
Gay elephant noise?Nick Cave is good stuff.
The 5 geek social fallacies. Know them well. And then there's The Sisters Of Mercy.
Except they're not goth.

Gay elephant noise?Paradise Lost is a pretty good goth band, imo.
Wait, Souxsie and the Banshees is considered goth? How 'bout that. I'd been meaning to check out their stuff ever since I heard their cover of "Dear Prudence" anyway.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. They basically invented the genre, as it were... though to give credit where credit is due, Joy Division and The Birthday Party were both pretty important, if not to be so grouped. Ditto The Virgin Prunes and A Certain Ratio.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception. You know, I first heard the Birthday Party and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds at the same time.
I was really surprised when I found out they were both Nick Cave.
Gay elephant noise?Would "This Corrosion" by the Sisters of Mercy be considered goth? Somehow that notion seems off.

The Sisters? Completely and undeniably goth.
:P
U mad, Andy?
Gay elephant noise?Yep this corrosion is goth. The reason why mello said The Sisters of Mercy aren't goth is Andrew Eldritch hates being considered goth.
"And then there's The Sisters Of Mercy.
Except they're not goth."
There was a band called Sunshine Blind. Great band, the singer had this really powerful voice. They did goth rock. Sisters of Mercy liked their stuff, and decided to have Sunshine Blind open for them on a tour.
Then they saw what Sunshine Blind looked like. The Sisters thought they looked too goth, and kicked them off the tour.
Sunshine Blind was pretty pissed about that. Even wrote a song telling them off.
I used to listen to a fair bit of goth music, when I was a teen and suffered a moderate case of The Goth. Sunshine Blind, as I mentioned. The Cruxshadows. Kristeen Young. A few others. I've moved away from most of it, though.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.
Yeah I've been into indie and electronic music for a while now and I'm just starting with rap and dubstep (wag I know it's part o electronic music but I'm just getting into it now) with a hint of folk and 50's & 60's surf/garage pop, also new wave.
But while I'm at it I've also been having this really weird craving for goth music. Yeah I guess I know the classics like The Cure, Souxie and the banshees, Bahaus and so on, yet I want to know more. Not just mote bands but more kinds of style in the genere, like industrial.
So please, if you have any suggestions of old and current goth bands, labels, websites and blogs that would be much appreciated. :)
PS. I'll probably come up with more posts like this, This is just the beginning, so watch out! My mind is full of curiosity.
Today is a sunny day!
