Am I the only one that hears the intro of "Midna's Lament" from Lo Z: Twilight Princess in the bridge of this song? No, that doesn't make it any good. Derulo seems to be making singles with lines in them that I don't think have ever been uttered in a sexual manner...ignoring the fact that this is for a reason.
Talk Dirty (not his line, but still): Dos cadenas, close to genius/ Sold-out arenas you could suck my penis...
Wiggle: YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THAT BIG FAT BUTT!

The title reminds me of that one song my nephew really liked when he was 2 and a half (he's 3 now). "Wiggle/and go/dance to the rhythm of the music" which is arguably a better song :p
In amusing news, a Todd Twitter post made as part of a hashtag competition for @Midnight got retweeted by a one-hit wonder who Todd has yet to cover... and may very well think about OHWing in the future as a result.
Specifically, Ini Kamoze of "Here Comes The Hotstepper" fame.

How timely. I've been wondering what this song is ever since The Book of Life used it for a joke.
Looking for some stories?Todd is unfortunately wrong. I can think of another musician who also had a song on his first album about picking his nose.
And he's very successful, Todd has referenced him many times and he has his fourteenth album coming out next month.
Behind the Scenes AKA Filming in an Apartment Building and All It's Woes.
Is he deliberately avoiding "Problem"?

Deep into that darkness, peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.Possibly timely, considering TMZ reported that Weird Al was spotted asking her for permission to parody her. Then again, they have a valid reason to strike back against him...
Really? He thought Nicki Minaj had star quality when he first heard her? I thought his first reaction was "I didn't know one of the Rugrats could rap".
I seem to remember him praising Gaga as the only exciting act around, shortly after he said she was a demon from hell.
I'm a skeptical squirrelDoes it really count if it's a guest verse? (If you were referring to it as a pop song worth reviewing, and not as a reference point for Iggy Azalea's work, then I stand corrected.)
He does say that "'star quality' is not the same thing as 'quality'", but if the Elvis reference is supposed to reflect cross-demographic appeal, I'm not sure how Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha really qualify.
(I like how both Todd's and Rap Critic's reviews are essentially, "I really want to like her music, but she's not making it easy.")

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.@Gamebreaking You got to remember that, he reveiews songs based on the comedy material he get out of them. It's probably not snark-worthy enough to review right now.

Put me in motion, drink the potion, use the lotion, drain the ocean, cause commotion, fake devotion, entertain a notion, be Nova ScotianI don't see much humor you can get out of "Problem", and it's a really good song anyway.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I thought that he was going to do "Rude" by MAGIC! next, but hey "Fancy" is good too. :P
Good review, too.
That might be up next, if his tweets are any indication.
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation. That song was inescapable here back at the beginning of the year. Are you guys only just getting it?
Be not afraid...I think we got it around the same time we got "Problem."
Looking for some stories? It's been on the playlist of a local alt rock station for a few months now, but it's only just recently hit pop radio here.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I don't really listen to the radio, so I don't really hear much of these songs. Most of what I listen to are smaller indie rock or EDM groups.
Somebody mentioned that Rap Critic did a review of the song but I don't remember.
About a month ago he did, yeah. Link here.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Man... The song is forgettable. ene
It's true what he says, Charli XCX's strenghts are not played up here. I don't particularly like Icona Pop's "I Don't Care", but at least that song fits Charli.
Rude is an interesting song and based on Twitter, Todd seems to have the same thoughts I do. The video makes me HAAAAAATE these people. Probably the same reasons Todd hates White Guy with Acoustic Guitar guys, they're the douchiest looking white guys appealing to girls in the cheapest ways. That's all I think of when I see them in that video. I mean the song is a lamer, more pop friendly version of "real" Reggae but I find it really catchy and interesting despite that but the video annoys me. Or maybe I just feel the need to defend an actual band that gets in the top 10 whenever I can...
Their follow up makes me think they're our new light rock group in a way, since One Republic, The Fray and Ed Sheeran have been making unexpectedly fun music lately.

This song was stupid but I still think "Tonight..." By Enrique Ingleases was worse.
