Let me speak to the manager!
The Legend of Karen is a webseries created by Lowbrow Studios, that parodies The Legend of Zelda franchise.
It's about Princess Zelda treating everyone in Hyrule like crap while behaving like a "Karen". She is also determined to talk to the manager and brings along her new "boyfriend" Kevin to find the "manager". Zelda is the manager but is too delusional to realize that. Even when others have to spell it out for her.
Guess We Better Start Reading This Shit!:
- Adaptational Jerkass: Princess Zelda acts like a spoiled, whiny tyrant making threats toward everyone for petty reasons.
- Adaptational Nice Guy: Ganon is offended by Zelda that she barges into his tower and—for some reason—has no idea who he is. Like others, he pulls out his phone and records Zelda's threats.
- I Need a Freaking Drink: The giant wall face says this after being annoyed by Zelda for too long.
- It's All About Me: Zelda often uses her phone and talks about herself.
- Kick the Dog: Zelda gives everyone in Hyrule this treatment wherever she goes.
- Meaningful Name: "Karen" is a pejorative term for a woman being entitled or demanding (something Princess Zelda has been acting throughout this whole webseries).
- Oh, Crap!: The old man mutters this when he sees Zelda and Kevin enter his shop.Old Man: "Oh, shit. Here we go."
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Zelda's reflection gives Zelda one and even goes far as to act like a "Karen" toward Zelda herself!
- Running Gag: Whenever Princess Zelda acts like a "Karen" to someone, they pull out their phone and record her actions. Subverted for the Durian-ade kid due to being unable to afford a phone.Durian-ade kid: "If I could afford a phone, I'd be recording this shit."
- "Guess I better start recording this shit."
