Hard split it. See How To Split A Page if you need instructions.
I think all of your titles sound good, I would also recommend turning Film.Planet Of The Apes into a disambiguation and index.
Fight smart, not fair.I have no trouble with knowing how to physically hard split a page. I've done loads of them in the Big page lock thread. It's just that I don't know enough about the Apes series to add leads to them, or to fix the terribly written openings to that of the 1968 and 2001 movies.

Also, as pointed out in the discussion, the Burton movie has one too many "somehows" in it.
For the page quote, how about this, spoken by Landon? "Somewhere in the universe, there must be something better than man..." It's also listed as the original film's Arc Words.
This drink is good! *Smash* I WANT MORE!Bump. Anyone gonna do anything here?
I just read the original novel, and considering the vast differences with the film it makes sense to make a separate page for it… I wouldn't mind writing the description.
Okay, I watched the 1968 original myself and made a truncated description and other sorting, is this better?
Also, anyone know WHICH video game that subsection is referring to? Also to point out, the original novel, the comics and the first TV series (speaking of, we also need a hard split to Series.Planet Of The Apes) have no opening lead to them.

I'm short on time now, but I'm going to add in the recently released novel, "Conspiracy On The Planet of The Apes", what I can about it. It's considered a canon book, and there are five more planned, assuming this one and the next sell decently. (of course that might eventually require more splitting or something, but for now, there's only one book.)
I think the canon supplements to the original film need a mention too, but not as their own section...I'll have to look closer after I've eaten and can focus better.
Hollered for a clock due to inactivity
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThere has been a request to lock the page due to inaction. If you wish to reopen the discussion please holler.
The opening paragraph simply lists an entire plot summary for the first film rather than an overview, and once you get to the bottom, you realise that it's been soft split into other films in the series (apart from Rise), with no indication until you actually reach that point. On top of that, the sub-entry for the Tim Burton remake also has a ridiculously wordy paragraph.
This soft-split page is quite a mess, but I don't know nearly enough about them to rewrite it. I guess the starting point is to make Main/ into a franchise page, and then add Literature.Planet Of The Apes and either Film.Planet Of The Apes or Film.Planet Of The Apes 1968 and Film.Planet Of The Apes 2001.
