Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Okay, so yeah, after seeing the pilot for Wacky Races Forever, I'm definitely for that, although I can also see why it didn't pick up at the time. Maybe in the future, maybe, but... not now.
Also, I agree with Constant Payne. It should have been picked up. Although... it still can, only it needs to be retooled just a bit to make it more relevant. But keep the art style.

Signatures are for lamers.Mina And The Count. A show that had a lot of potential and was made into a series of shorts for both Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, but was never picked up, despite people loving it.
I'm honestly surprised that nobody has suggested Korgoth of Barbaria yet.

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. That's the problem, though, WB has a terminal case of "hindsight is 20/20", realizing they had some animated movies that came at least close to Disney/Pixar level about 10 years after it mattered.
My candidates
Welcome To Eltingville. I waited for that series for a year, then another six monthes after the pilot was repeated. Oddly, it was Dorkin's less-remembered project - the Too Good to Last Bill & Ted comic book - that made me a fan. Hmm, a Dorkin-run Bill & Ted cartoon...
Out of the dozen or so Gargoyles spin-offs considered, Timedancer. Gargoyles + time travel = nirvana. Though Gargoyles 2198 could have been Batman Beyond before there was that.
Speaking of DCAU, the Dini-Timm-Alex Ross Shazam! toon.
The Mystik Spiral spin-off of Daria, which only got to the script-stage. Despite knowing the undeniable history that informs his opinion, I disagree with Glenn Eichler that Daria couldn't have been followed on into college, but Spiral was probably the better idea. Not that it mattered as it didn't happen for the same reason Daria ended at five seasons rather than Eichler's (rumored) originally planned six - MTV was becoming, well, MTV.
And hopefully this will end up averted since The Movie is the only reason it's not happened - The Fireside Girls spinoff from Phineas & Ferb.

Forgot that one, agreed, even though I'm more of a casual Buffy fan and prefer Angel.
That got me to thinking of the rumored reason BBC didn't do Ripper - it was a choice between that or the Doctor Who revival - which lead me to reflect on how I seem to be one of the few who wishes the Nelvana Doctor Who cartoon had gone through. Wonky Cybermen and Dalek designs aside, I liked the other designs (especially the Egon-esque Doctor), and I think if it had happened I'd have become a Doctor Who fan sooner.
I have an entire list:
Wacky Races Forever, Party Wagon, Moo Beard the Cow Pirate, Kyle + Rosemary, Teacup, Garlic Boy, Flavio, Sam Squatch, Girls on the Go, 3 Dog Band, Planet Kate, Crash Nebula, The Wizzard of Krudd
Compared to the crap that's on CN now (especially since Boomerang's rebranding), these shows could serve as the new era.

i don't know if anyone's mentioned this already, but there was this one called Lakewood Plaza Turbo that i really liked.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.Hmm, I don't think LPT was mentioned before.
And since I'm posting a comment, I might as well say I wish Stockboys of the Apocalypse, The Awesome Chronicles of Manny and Khan, The Amazing Screw-On Head, and Danger Planet were picked up.
Actually, I think LTP was picked up.
I still mourn that Adult Swim decided not to pick up Snake 'n' Bacon.
Just a person. He/him.But WHEN will it show? They seem to be dragging their feet with it.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceFerret And Parrot seemed like it had potential.
"Just pick two things that rhyme."
really? by who?
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.CN.
Just a person. He/him.huh. i haven't seen it on their lineup recently. when does it air?
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.I don't know. As I said, I think it was picked up. Cartoon Network Wikia claims the series is "upcoming."
Just a person. He/him.The 1993 version of Journey To The Center Of The Earth. See two clips here and here. In retrospect I can see the faults that make it a pale imitation of Star Trek and Seaquest, but at the time I thought it was cool. I can't help but wonder what could've happened had this series been given a chance, perhaps if it had been given a few TV movies to properly establish the universe like Hercules was.
mudshark: I don't expect Nate to make sense, really.I really wish Kitty Bobo was chosen for the Cartoon Network's Big Pick contest. Or, like Whatever Happened to... Robot Jones? it could been picked up later.
Just being me.Given how good its first episode was, I was wildly surprised Korgoth Of Barbaria was not picked up.

Slapstick Knows no Gender seems to be a trope because it is not always the norm. Female characters can be done well, indeed, I'm just saying for some writers it is easier to do male characters to avoid these possible problems.
