For someone like Captain Planet, I think our best shot of gauging who would win is to look at what his strongest feats are and then see if his opponent has survived things equal to or greater than those attacks.

It's a really flawed way of judging who'd win, though.

I don't really see how it's a highly flawed way....imo it seems like literally the only way one can ever judge who'd win on...anything.

Surprised no one bothered to post this yet.

Fight comes out on the 31st for sponsors.

[up]Yeah, for a lot of characters, you just have to judge them based on their highest showing at the moment, even if it's possible they might be stronger. Like Saitama.

[up] In the video, she seems to be either attached to the floor or standing in a place with artificial gravity. So for that scene at least, it doesn't seem odd to me.

[up] Wesker. Wouldn't... I dunno... Alex Mercer be a better opponent for Wesker?

Alex Mercer is basically a knock-off of Venom, but Word of God says he was inspired by ideas for a Hulk game. So Mercer v. Venom or Mercer v. Hulk?

Vs Venom I'd actually give it to Alex. Symbiots do not grant immunity to diseases, so there's really no indication that Alex can't infect/kill a Venom host with the turboplague or something. Or hell, absorb the symbiot.

Neither. Alex Mercer vs. Cole McGrath has always been a favored Death Battle of mine instead of either 2 getting a different opponent.

Cassandra Cain vs. Albert Wesker is just as unfair to Batgirl.

I dunno. Cassandra is about as fast as Wesker, has some freaky strength, can read his body movements to predict his attacks and she is in all likelyhood superior to him in H 2 H skill. Wesker has his guns and she has her batbelt.

Yeah, Carolina has anti-grav boots. And I think the Mother of Invention and places like it in that arc have gravity control, so it's not all that weird.

I might've liked to see Locus and Felix go up against him, but a two-on-one fight just isn't done.

Alex Mercer is basically a knock-off of Venom,

Actually, he's closer to Carnage... is what I'd say if Venom hadn't gotten a massive power up ability-wise.

Vs Venom I'd actually give it to Alex. Symbiots do not grant immunity to diseases, so there's really no indication that Alex can't infect/kill a Venom host with the turboplague or something. Or hell, absorb the symbiot.
The symbiotes do - or at least can, if they so choose - grant immunity from Earthly diseases, or at least most diseases - Deadpool mentions he knew a werewolf centaur with diabetes who was bonded to a symbiote. Also, so long as they're covering their host, they can heal injuries that would normally prove fatal, like Gargan-Venom having his torso vaporized by the Swordsman and getting an angry toy poodle in the eye courtesy of Bullseye; Anti-Venom having his head blown open by the Punisher and being impaled by Mr. Negative; Agent Venom being impaled by Toxin and getting his head cut open by Jack O'Lantern; Carnage being torn in half by the Sentry, being decapitated by Agent Venom, note  and having his head blown off by Alice Gleason; and Toxin sustaining 3rd and 4th degree burns and getting an arm bitten off.

Since Alex can't regenerate/regain health without consuming something first, who's to say the symbiote wouldn't pull a James Heller on him?

Cassandra is about as fast as Wesker, has some freaky strength, can read his body movements to predict his attacks and she is in all likelyhood superior to him in H 2 H skill. Wesker has his guns and she has her batbelt.
Wait, didn't Wesker obtain superhuman abilities - including a healing factor - as a result of being infused with the Prototype virus, the t-Virus, and the Uroboros virus? Wouldn't that give him a massive advantage against Cassandra?

Alex Mercer vs. Cole McGrath has always been a favored Death Battle of mine instead of either 2 getting a different opponent.
... except, going by Alex's fight with Cross, he's weak against electricity.

So, um... Heavy vs. Zarya, anyone?
Hmm... I'm not very familiar with either character, but that might prove entertaining.

[up]Oh don't get me wrong, Wesker is very powerful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04XXk1DBs-M

But Cain isn't normal either. She was ridiculous. https://www.reddit.com/r/respectthreads/comments/2jnji8/respect_batgirl_cassandra_cain/

The real question is what she's bringing in her belt and if Wesker gets Uroboros. Standard Wesker is Matrix Wesker, injecting himself with Uroboros was a last ditch effort via a missile that just happened to be there.

Generally, the Bats folks do carry sonics, which could be a big help, and stuff like explosives, ropes and knockout gas. The ropes, batarangs and knockout gas might be less helpful against Wesker, but the explosives and sonics could win it for her.

If Wesker does get Uroboros and turns into Tentacle Horror Wesker, he might win unless there is a convenient flamethrower or something.

Heavy vs. Zarya: Heavy probably has better feats, on the grounds that he's killed an angry mother bear unarmed- and he probably does things like that on a regular basis to feed his family.

Though in spite of that I'd give it to Zarya only because her barriers are that good of a counter to Heavy's boolets: a well-timed pop of that will max out her Particle Cannon's energy and quickly shred Heavy apart.
Heavy does have the Sandvich/Dalokohs Bar to heal himself and the Buffalo Steak Sandvich to increase his strength, but the Particle Barrier absorbs damage and powers Zarya up at the same time. (And unlike the Steak, the boosts to Zarya's strength are indefinite.)

Heavy's best shot at winning is probably the Holiday Punch (if you hit someone from behind with it they're thrown into an uncontrollable fit of laughter,) but I don't see him getting close enough to Zarya to exploit it in the first place.
