Snake has thermal imaging goggles, radar/Sonar and the Solid Eye, and Batman has Detective vision. Hard for anyone to be stealthy when both combatants can see through walls and detect life forms in the room.

I think they both carry weapons that would counteract the others' detectors, though. Snake's Chaff grenades would probably take out Detective Vision, but could also take out his own sonar and radar - which Batman could also deal with using sonic batarangs or his radio scrambler thingie respectively if they're using his Asylum loadout.

I don't think Batman has a hard counter for infrared vision though (he carries flashbombs, on occasion, but that's about it), but Snake would still be limited to what he's looking directly at.

If we use the Batman Arkham games as a data point, Batman has a counter to thermal imaging. Midway through City, enemies start using thermal imaging to scan the gargoyles you use has vantage points. But you can buy an upgrade that allows Batman's suit to lower temperature to match the surroundings, negating that.

Honestly after Two Death Battles and a Minute Melee, I think they've overdone Batman.

I have empirical scientific evidence that more Batman is in fact more betterer.

What about Snake vs Simon Belmont?

A good writer puts in a lot of details in there story. But a great one gets a story from a single detail.

You can have too much of anything in a series like this. Leonardo is the only other character that's been used in 2 Deathbattles that wasn't a remaster but that shouldn't start a trend.

Obligatory Batman vs Leonardo comment.

But seriously, I'd love to not see Batman again. Unless he's quickly disposed of as someone else's intro, just to rile up fanboys.

I'm glad the battle didn't with "waiting until sunrise", that would be bullshit.

The Professor X discussion has me thinking of Psychic death battles, so I'm wondering, if the God Emperor of Mankind fought Jean Grey as The Phoenix, who'd win?

I've heard that The Phoenix Force is actually the 3rd most powerful thing in Marvel comics, so Jean would probably have to be limited to her "normal" Phoenix incarnations to keep this fair.

Who would be a good opponent for Kenshiro? I initially considered Mad Max, as they're both warriors who wander post-apocalyptic wastelands and destroy evil where they find it, but that would be one-sided in Kenshiro's favour.

A few ideas I have:

Hit-Girl vs. Revy

Hit-Girl vs. Ryuko Matoi

Kirito vs. Neo

Eren Yeager vs. Hulk

Asura vs. Kratos

EDIT: Damnit, first time posting in forums.

[up][up] Jotaro. Definitely Jotaro.

[up] 1. Revy. Hit-Girl is 11 in the first movie, and... 15 in the second movie, I think. I don't know how old she is in the comics. Still, she got her butt whooped by Frank D'Amico in the first film and would have been killed if Kickass hadn't intervened. Revy is superhumanly skilled with firearms.

2. That would be a unilateral Curb-Stomp Battle for Ryuko. Even if Hit-Girl could touch her, Ryuko would simply regenerate thanks to her Life Fibers, and she is vastly stronger and faster than any human even without Senketsu. If Ryuko has Senketsu and both Rending Scissor Blades, Hit-Girl wouldn't stand a ghost of a chance.

3. This is tricky since Kirigaya Kazuto has multiple avatars depending on what game he's plugged into: his Sword Art Online and Project Alicization avatars (Kirito the Black Swordsman), his ALfheim Online avatar (Kirito the Spriggan), and his Gun Gale Online avatar (Kirito the absurdly feminine gunslinger). Assuming they're in the Matrix or Neo has his powers as the One regardless of what virtual reality he's plugged into, Neo would win in a Curb-Stomp Battle.

4. The Hulk would smash Eren. While Eren has a speed and mobility advantage with the 3D Maneuver Gear, eventually he'd run out of steam (literally) and have to turn into the Rouge Titan. While the Rouge Titan is bigger (and now has the ability to create an exoskeleton similar to the Armored Titan and Annie's crystal armour), the Hulk's healing factor is (arguably) faster than Eren's, and he is infinitely stronger.

5. That would be an interesting match. As for who would win... I dunno. Asura is vastly stronger than Kratos even in his base form, but he has been killed multiple times and Kratos has a more varied arsenal and is skilled at defeating gods.

Regarding 1, I'd point out Hit Girl's fight against Mother Russia in the second comic/film.

Regarding 2, good point.

You... don't have anything for 3.

And Asura kept coming back from death faster and faster with each time. The first death he came back from after 12,000 years. The second one only took him 500 years. The third one? He came back from it within less than a week. And if you assume that he did indeed "die" a fourth time after he was defeated by Chakravartin the first time around, before he got the Karma Fortress's Mantra Reactor installed in him, then he improved his record by coming back within hours. That's when he hit his peak form, since the Mantra Reactor that he had lacked all along now allows him to regulate his immense power so that he no longer undergoes extreme Heroic RRoD whenever he accesses the full extent of his Wrath-fuelled power (i.e. he no longer enters the self-destroying Wrath/Berserker mode).

Now try imagining what the next record would be.

Let's face it, the difference in sheer power between Asura and Kratos makes this rather one-sided. The very first boss in Asura's Wrath utterly eclipses anything Kratos faces throughout the entire God of War franchise, to say nothing of being able to punch out the literal creator God of his universe.
