Or Bruce had been regularly giving the suit technology updates over those 20 years, to the point that it became a ship of Theseus in the process.

I wonder if we can WMG anything from that blurry image...
Is this another part of pony friendship? Telling each other what you learned all the time?it's goku vs superman 3 obvs
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeWell, the figure on the left is definitely humanoid. The light patches on the chest suggest lighter colours, a bra maybe? Yeah, definitely looks like a bra.
So one of the fighters wears a bra for her outer layers.
Wrong thread.

....So, if Torrian's not working on Spider-Man, that means that the hand gesture is going to feature in the season finale... and since the silhouette on the left looks female...
Calling it now, it's Sailor Moon.
If the bottom patch is a bra, then what could the top patch be? A crown?
Yeah even from that blur I can tell that's not Viewtiful Joe vs. Wonder Red. A pity, we'll have to push for that one another day.
Well, if it is Sailor Moon, who would her opponent be?
Is this another part of pony friendship? Telling each other what you learned all the time?I could only see Madoka being her opponent, frankly.
The silhouette on the right kind of looks as if it was putting up dukes (the two vaguely spherical bits).
Of course, that very well might be some sort of weapon instead.
Big GrahIt'll probably be some other Magical Girl.
I love to learn, I love to yearn, and most of all... I love to make money. The silhouette on the right looks very cartoony, so I'm not sure. Some magical girls have elaborate dresses, so it could result on one such silhouette. Not sure if someone like Madoka would fit it, but it's not out of the question.
I recall someone in this thread once suggested Cardcaptor Sakura as an opponent for Sailor Moon. I have no idea if it would be close, but it's a character I know more about, at least.
Why would he? He retired and had no intention of anyone ever taking up his mantle. There's no reason for him to periodically makes updates to a suit that he doesn't intend to ever be worn again.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Well, there's people IRL making swords with no intention to ever get in a sword fight. It's a hobby.
That said all signs seem to point that he never did update the suit as he was really bitter about having to quit.
Keep in mind there's no reason to assume that any capability not shown in the pilot episode(s) is part of the original suit. Or in plainer language, there's nothing saying that suit wasn't dated in terms of tech and such when Terry first used it, and then Bruce Wayne upgraded it after he came to terms with Terry about using the Batsuit on a regular basis.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)
I recall Terry himself stating that the suit is still cutting edge even twenty years later (he seemed to recognize all the tech in it at a glance despite not really being a tech guy).
Then again, Terry might be wrong, but he used it pretty well when he first stole it.
One Strip! One Strip!Oh, we know for a fact that Bruce has tinkered with the suit when Terry became Batman, as he complained having to repair it a few times :-P And the suits electronics had to be reprogrammed once after the previously mentioned AI possession episode.
Bruce is pretty far thinking (and likely had access to some pretty advanced tech via the Justice League). It's not out of the question that he made the suit so modular and adaptive that he could still upgrade it if necessary even twenty years later.
One Strip! One Strip!Speaking of which, what's stopping Lyla from hacking the Batsuit?
How many times has the Batsuit been hacked before?
Is this another part of pony friendship? Telling each other what you learned all the time?Wasn't it just that one time with the A.I. dude?
Were there other times where someone hacked it? I can't really remember.
One Strip! One Strip! What year does Batman Beyond take place?
Forever liveblogging the AvengersSomewhere in the 2030s, IIRC.
Red is at a disadvantage. He needs the rest of the 101 to use his full powers (the Wonder Fist and all that).
Sure, he's not totally defenceless without them, but he wouldn't be at his full power either, which would be unfair.
<Remembers he needs to finish The Wonderful 101...then remembers all his save data was lost a while back and he has to start over...then realizes that's ok>
So yeah.
Edit: In regards to Terry's earlier breakdown, it should be pointed out that the Beyond Batsuit is twenty years old at the time Terry dawns it, and yet is still considered cutting edge regardless.
Bruce was twenty years ahead of his time when he made that suit.
